Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 3331

Even though there was a nanny and a butler at home, a mother would still have to devote her attention to caring for her child. Sometimes, this would keep her so busy her husband would be neglected.

By then, there would be little chance for the couple to have time alone together like they did now. Tania understood this from experience.

“Alright. Once winter break starts, I’ll bring Sonny back for a couple of days.” Serenity could not bear to ruin Tania’s joy, so she decided to bring Sonny back to visit before their week-long trip to Annenburg. They would be back by Christmas.

“Just for a couple of days? Is Sonny going to Jensburg?” Tania asked in concern. “Jensburg is so cold, and it snows often. Will Sonny be able to bear it? He might find it fun if it’s only for a short visit once in a while, but he might catch a cold if he stays there every day. It’s hard for us to adapt to the bitter cold over there.”

The temperature in Wiltspoon usually dropped around ten degrees and everyone would already complain about how cold it was, but compared to winter in the north, it was already a very comfortable temperature.

“We’re not going to Jensburg. He says he wants to go to Annenburg. Jane’s adopted son is on winter break now and the two kids agreed over a call for Sonny to visit once school lets out for winter break. I’ve already allowed it.”

Tania was a little disappointed. She thought Sonny would stay at Wildridge Manor for about two weeks during his winter break and only return to his mother when it was almost Christmastime. She had not expected him to be visiting Annenburg.

Upon seeing Tania’s disappointed look, Serenity asked tentatively, “Mom, why don’t you come with us to Annenburg? Just think of it as a holiday. There are a few good attractions and a lot more man-made tourist spots.
