Grandma May laughed and said, “Now that’s the Audrey Fisher I know. She should take back whatever should have been hers in the first place. She doesn’t need a reason! Even if Mr. Patrick doesn’t have much evidence regarding Tiara and her family’s deaths, he’s one of the witnesses. His statement is proof too. If Tiara wasn’t murdered, why was he being hunted?

“Doc and the rest were the ones who saved him. Even though they’ve been retired for decades, they’re still talked about, and with Dr. Carden’s reputation, they’ll return to the public’s eye and remind everyone of their past.

“With their testimony to prove that Mr. Patrick was being pursued and was seriously injured as a result of that, everyone will believe every single word he says. Now, all Mr. Patrick has to do is take good care of his health. It’ll be great if he can go with you guys to confront Belinda, otherwise, just get him to record a video and the other old fellows to accompany you guys as backup. Belinda might deny it to the bitter end but the others can judge for themselves.”

Grandma May said, “It’s not that I’m smart. It’s just that you guys were only concerned about his health and what you could do to help him live a few years longer while neglecting the fact that he could be a witness. Plus, Doc and the gang could be witnesses too.

“Those old coots are around my age and can probably live for at least another ten years. They’ll do as your witnesses. You guys didn’t want to put Mr. Patrick through more suffering either. He’s too old and in bad health, so just record a video of him. You’ll still be able to establish how ruthless Belinda was back then with Doc and the others to back you up.

“Mr. Patrick was Tiara’s assistant. If Belinda was truly innocent, why did she go after him? She definitely had something to do with Alivia’s death too.” At this, Grandma May sighed before continuing. “Sometimes, family rules can kill. If the position was passed down according to caliber, there might have been competition, but at least everyone had some hope.

“Belinda isn’t incapable either. Tiara wasn’t in good health and Audrey and Lisa were quite young at the time. If Belinda hadn’t done anything, Tiara might have passed the position to her eventually.” Grandma May sighed again.
