Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 3342

The girl replied, “I don’t remember his name anymore. I’ve never heard anyone call him by his name. Everyone just calls him by his code name, Silver. He texted me and told me he was here and to look for him here.”

When the helper heard the girl was looking for Silver, she breathed a sigh of relief although she did not know who that was, having confirmed that the girl was not looking for Mr. Stone.

“Miss, we don’t have someone called Mr. Silver here. Are you sure you’re in the right place? This is the Stones’ residence.”

“This is the location he sent me. It can’t be wrong, he said he was at the Stones’ home,” the girl said as she dug out her phone from her pocket and looked for the specific message before showing it to the employee. “There’s no mistake. This is the place.”

The employee took a look at the address. It really was the place.

She suddenly recalled the VIP guests who arrived that morning and asked in realization, “Miss, did the Mr. Silver you’re looking for just arrive in Wiltspoon this morning with a few other old men?”

“That’s right, they’re the ones! Those old coots didn’t even give me a heads up before running off, setting us off on a wild goose chase,” the girl complained.

It was only then the employee opened the door and said, “They’ve rested for a while and have already gotten up. You should have mentioned that you were looking for Mr. Silver earlier. I thought you were looking for Mr. Stone.”

The girl was surprised for a moment before she said helplessly, “Did you think I was his illegitimate daughter or his mistress or something? No wonder you looked at me in such an unfriendly manner when I said I was looking for my old man.”

She looked at her as if she was trying to fend off an intruder.

The employee smiled sheepishly. “It was because you appeared suddenly and said that you were looking for your old man so vaguely. The only person who could be considered someone’s old man here is Mr. Stone, you know.”
