Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 3357

“What were you laughing at just now?” Emmett asked again.

Duncan replied honestly, “I just had a call with Liberty. I couldn’t resist laughing when I thought about us getting married soon.”

“Have you proposed to her?” Emmett asked.

“I did, in the past, but she didn’t say yes then.

“I won’t leave her with regrets, Emmett. I’ll propose to her again. I’ll have it arranged when she’s back in Wiltspoon. I’ll decorate the venue I’ve chosen, and propose to her publicly. I want Hank and the Browns to see that giving up on Liberty was their greatest loss.

“Hank doesn’t deserve her.”

Duncan was determined to make the Browns regret it.

Emmett smiled. “I’m sure they already have long ago. What’s done can’t be undone.

“You shouldn’t disappoint Liberty either. She’s probably still slightly traumatized from her failed marriage. If you weren’t loyal and persistent and even became like this for her, there was no guarantee that she would agree to marry you.

“Frankly speaking, with how she is now, she could have her pick.

Ignoring the fact that Liberty had a business, and solely being related to the Yorks and Stones by marriage and blood, respectively, many were thinking about getting married to her.

Liberty also knew that the men who approached her were mainly attracted by Serenity and Aunt Audrey’s statuses, except Duncan.

Duncan was born into a wealthy family.
