Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 3399

Grandma May glared at Dylan and said, “Can’t I ask you for a simple request anymore?”

He looked toward the other adults. They did not utter a word.

It seemed like they did not mind Grandma May making decisions on her own.

Under his nana’s glare, he had no choice but to sit and say, “Of course, you can. I’ll wait for Ms. Sugar here and take her to the hotel later.”

Dylan could not believe that she was pushing any young woman she saw to him.

While Sugar was dressed plainly, she looked elegant. She probably came from a wealthy family.

Was his nana playing matchmaker despite only meeting Sugar for the first time and not knowing anything about her background?

Grandma May knew that he was in love with Chameleon Fox. How could he like Sugar when he even rejected Imogen?

Sugar’s and Imogen’s personalities were complete opposites. Sugar was more energetic, but she still could not compare to his Chameleon Fox.

‘Ah, my little fox. Am I that terrible of a man that you don’t even want to tell me your name?’

Maybe he was overthinking it.

Grandma May had already said that she would not interfere with his love life and that he could make his own decisions.

Dylan reassured himself that way.

He sat close to Zachary and nudged him. He softly complained, “Why didn’t you rescue me? Nana doesn’t like me now.”

Zachary said, “Who else can give Ms. Sugar a ride? Definitely not me.”

Dylan said, “The Stone family has a driver. They could’ve asked him to take her to the hotel or get her a taxi.”

“Ms. Sugar is going to stay at Wiltspoon Hotel. You’re leaving anyway. Driving her to the hotel and getting her checked in doesn’t require much effort. Since Nana is inviting the elders to the manor, Ms. Sugar is also an important guest of ours.

“You’re simply being a responsible host by taking her to the hotel. What were you thinking about?”

Dylan was rendered speechless.
