Chapter 175 Who Are You Calling “Darling”
He’s back? Has he actually returned from abroad? Ha! He promised never to come back to the country, and now he’s easily changed his mind! You can’t trust a single word that comes out of their mouths.
Nicholas took out his phone. Shortly after, Lynn drove the car over, and Nicholas got in before they desperately chased after them.
Meanwhile, Nancy sat in the back seat with Julian while the chauffeur was in the front seat, driving.
At first, Julian was repulsed by the smell of alcohol on her, so he sat at a distance. However, after a few sharp turns on the road, Nancy swayed from side to side, eventually ending up sitting very close to him.
Then, with a sudden sharp turn, she was flung right next to him.
Julian pushed her away in disgust, saying, “Hey, move aside.”
Nancy tried to move aside, but she was too dizzy and weak to push herself away. Instead, she continued leaning against the man with her eyes closed.
After glancing at her a few times, Julian couldn’t bear it any longer. He reached out and adjusted her posture while moving to the side to create some distance between them. Then, he looked at the chauffeur and coldly ordered, “Drive slower. Why are you in such a hurry?”
Upon hearing this, the chauffeur immediately applied the brakes to slow down.
Thanks to the sudden braking, Nancy tilted toward Julian once again.
Julian pushed Nancy’s head away in disgust once more, saying as he did, “Why are you clinging to me like a suction cup? I really regret letting you in the car. Nancy…” He said sternly, “Sit properly. Sit upright.”
These words seemed to register with Nancy in her drunken haze. Moreover, the man’s voice sounded incredibly familiar to her. This voice sounds like Nicholas! But wasn’t he in the private room? How did he end up next to me? Ah, never mind. Let’s not think about it. “I do want to sit properly, but I can’t. My head is spinning. Don’t be so mean; let me lean on you for a moment. I promise I won’t disturb you once I wake up
tomorrow. Just let me lean on you for a bit for now, okay? Hmm.. My head hurts,” she said, her body slumping against Julian’s as she nodded off, her head drooping.
Seeing her in such a state, Julian finally believed that she was drunk and delirious. Looking at her again, he couldn’t help but complain, “Why would a girl drink so much for no reason? You’re lucky to have bumped into me. If it were anyone else, you would’ve been in danger, you know.”
As soon as he said that, he suddenly felt a grip on his arm.
The next moment, Nancy pinched his arm while complaining unhappily with a pout, “How dare you lecture me? Have you no conscience? And now you’re questioning why I drank so much It’s all because of you, you bad guy! Do you think I wanted to drink? My head is killing me now Hmm As she spoke. she bit her head with her fist, but her head continued to hurt badly no matter how hard she hit it You bad guy! You could ve helped me, but you just looked on coldly without saying anything You know what? My hearts broken into pieces I had no choice but to drink she continued as tears began

streaming down her face. Without thinking, she grabbed Julian’s sleeve and wiped the tears on her face
with it.
At that very moment, Julian was rendered speechless. Anger boiled inside him; if it weren’t for his self- control, he would have thrown her out of the car right now. Rescuing her was indeed a mistake-and a big one at that! “Sit properly! Where do you live? I’ll take you back,” he asked.
Nancy blinked in a daze and suddenly patted Julian on the cheek. “You’ve become stupid. Don’t you know where I live? Haven’t you been there before?”
Baffled, Julian looked at her with confusion. When have I ever been to her place? She’s simply lying. “I forgot where it is. Tell me your address again,” he replied.
Nancy mumbled a string of words, which Julian then repeated to the driver in the front seat before asking, “Do you know where it is? Take her there immediately.”
“Yes, Mr. Jadin.”
After all the commotion, Nancy finally became much quieter, though her head still rested on Julian’s
shoulder.
On the way, Julian tried several times to move her head away, but every time he moved slightly, she stirred as if she were about to wake up. To keep her quiet, he had no choice but to put up with it, letting her sleep with her head on his shoulder.
Upon reaching their destination, he helped Nancy out of the car and was about to instruct his chauffeur to assist her to her apartment, but to his dismay, when he turned around, his chauffeur had already left.
Despite his manners, he couldn’t help but let out a swear word at this moment.
After glancing at Nancy, he had no choice but to help her into the elevator. When they reached her apartment, he noticed that she was still soundly asleep with her eyes half-closed. He raised his voice, asking, “Where are your keys? Where do you keep them?”
Nancy gave no response; she was in a deep sleep and didn’t hear anything.
