Seven Days Seven Nights (Nicholas and Nancy) novel Chapter 182

Chapter 182 Miss Me?

What will happen if it fails?

To be honest, Nancy hadn’t given this question much thought, but now she seemed to have an answer.

If it failed, she would leave this place-the place filled with memories of Nicholas-and she would never return to this place of heartbreak.

Nevertheless, she hoped for a happy and fulfilling ending for both of them.

“Maybe one day, I might still ask him. I might not be able to resist comparing my place in his heart with Madelline’s, but for now, I don’t want to think about those questions. Besides, hasn’t Madelline gone abroad? Do you think I’m being selfish? I actually hope she never comes back,” Nancy muttered. bitterly.

Linda gently hugged her in a comforting manner. “Girl, that’s not being selfish. No one wants their relationships to be destroyed by someone else, and no woman can be generous enough to share a man with another woman. You can’t, and neither can I

Upon hearing this, Nancy thought there might be some conflict between Linda and Luke, so she immediately asked with concern, “How are you and Luke doing lately?”

“Fine, I guess?”

If Linda set aside the family reasons, it would have been going well.

But including those reasons, it was a different story.

However, like Nancy, she didn’t want to deliberately dwell on it as long as that moment didn’t come.

Since Linda came back, Nancy stayed with her all day.

During the weekend, the two of them would stay at home, chat, watch dramas, and have a very pleasant. time.

Moreover, there were urgent matters to deal with on Nicholas’ side, so they hadn’t seen each other for several days.

It wasn’t until Monday when Nancy had just finished work and was about to take off her white coat that she heard voices murmuring nearby. “He’s so handsome.”

“Yeah, I haven’t seen such a handsome man in a long time. I wonder who he’s here to see. I’m so

envious.”

Nancy briefly listened but didn’t pay much attention.

When she walked out of the department’s door, she saw a familiar figure and froze on the spot.

That back!

She was sure she hadn’t seen it wrong. It was him! Nicholas was back!

Nancy quickened her steps and was about to walk over when Nicholas turned around.

A smile unconsciously appeared on his lips when he noticed her. Then, he murmured softly, “Don’t move. I’ll come over.”

So, Nancy stood there obediently and watched as he ran toward her.

The next moment, he embraced her tightly.

Although they hadn’t been apart for very long, it felt like a significant reunion.

Nancy held him, and as she breathed in his familiar scent, she felt an unprecedented sense of security and longing.

When she thought about it carefully, it had only been two days since they parted.

Forty-eight hours felt excruciatingly long, as if time had been stretched to its limits.

Both of them held each other tightly, passionately absorbing each other’s scent and presence.

After a while, Nicholas asked, “Where’s the rest area?”

“Right in front.”

Take me there.”

“Sure.”

Nancy didn’t think too much, assuming that Nicholas was just tired from being on the road and wanted. to rest for a while..

But as soon as they reached the lounge, he swung his arm to close the door directly.

The next moment, his tall figure pinned her against the door, and his kiss came down almost like a storm, overwhelming and passionate.

Nancy was taken aback for a moment and was about to speak, but that gave him the opportunity to deepen the kiss.

Perhaps due to not seeing each other for two days, Nicholas seemed to grow even more aggressive.

His grip was strong, and he seemed almost eager to pull her into himself.

His whole existence was like a fierce storm, leaving no room for Nancy to catch her breath.

Realizing that she was distracted, Nicholas felt somewhat displeased and lightly bit her lip.

Nancy winced and raised her bright eyes as she looked at Nicholas in confusion. “Why did you bite

me?”

“You deserved it.” Nicholas pressed his forehead against hers and said, “You weren’t paying attention. while kissing me.”

As he spoke, his kisses rained down on her again, leaving almost no gap for Nancy to mentally prepare

herself.

The atmosphere between the two gradually heated up.

She had to admit that she missed him, desperately so.

She missed everything about him-his scent, his taste, his kisses, and everything else.

Under Nicholas’ relentless assault, Nancy gradually let go of her shyness and became more pliant. She stood on her tiptoes, wanting to press herself closer to him.

Suddenly, there was a knock from the outside..

Nancy’s heart skipped a beat, and she was terrified. She immediately pushed Nicholas away and held her breath, waiting for any noise coming from outside. Even her breathing was done ever so cautiously.

There was another knock on the door, which fueled her anxiety.

The knocking continued, causing her to feel extremely uneasy. She was torn between opening the door or leaving it as it was..

Just then, Nicholas placed his hand on the doorknob and was ready to open it.

Nancy looked up at him and whispered, “Are you going to open the door?”

“Do you not want to?” Nicholas replied with a question.

Nancy nodded as she was worried about how she would explain things if they were caught like this.

In reality, Nicholas could easily discern her thoughts. He immediately pointed to his own lips, silently requesting a kiss.

Nancy suppressed a smile and suspected that he was doing this intentionally just to get a kiss.
