Chapter 188 Let Go You’re Hurting Me
Once they finished their meal, Linda took Nancy out for some shopping.
She hoped that Nancy would find joy in retail therapy and forget about her worries.
The time they spent shopping was filled with happiness.
Linda helped Nancy choose a few beautiful dresses to try on while she took photos of Nancy.
Then, she sent the photos to Nicholas.
“You sent all of them?” Nancy asked as she tried on another dress.
Linda nodded. “Of course. We need to make sure he thinks of you every moment of his trip. He must be itching to fly right back to your side.”
“Make sure to use a nice filter.”
“There’s no need for that. You’re gorgeous. No matter what angle I use, you look beautiful.. Besides, do you doubt my photography skills?”
Nancy promptly shook her head. “I believe in you. Of course, I do.”
As time passed, Nancy bought a few new outfits, while Linda didn’t buy anything.
“Linda, you usually love buying clothes the most. What’s wrong with you today? Go pick a few outfits for yourself instead of just for ine. Nancy said glumly.
“I…” After a brief pause, she said, “I don’t want to buy anything
“Come on! Nicholas is paying, right? Choose a few outfits that catch your eye.”
When Linda thought about what happened two days ago, she lowered her eyes and disinterestedly commented, “I won’t. No one will see them, anyway.”
Nancy instantly sensed that something was wrong and leaned in to whisper, “Did you two fight?”
“Yes.” Linda nodded.
“Tell me about it?”
“It’s nothing much, just a few petty arguments. What angers me is how he never tries to calm me down. He waits for me to calm down by myself until I approach him so that we can make up. Hmph! I refuse to do it this time. If he doesn’t make the first move, I won’t either,” Linda angrily announced.
It had to be admitted that Linda was an incredibly beautiful woman who looked stunning even when she was angry.

You’re so pretty when you’re angry. As expected of a great actress!” Nancy quickly reassured her.
“You’re better at this. If only Luke had half your talent for coaxing people.”
“Well, Ms. Steward, would you be kind enough to try this dress on for me? It’s exquisite, and it will surely match your fair skin and slender legs perfectly.”
Linda picked up the dress and examined it before whispering to Nancy, “Isn’t it a little too. revealing? I never wear something like this unless it’s for my roles.”
“Try it out, then. You’re a beautiful woman with amazing skin. Don’t you think it’s a waste of your curves if you don’t wear something more stunning and sensual?”
Linda found herself agreeing with that logic.
Without hesitation, she grabbed the dress and headed into the changing room.
Nancy smiled when she saw that.
She would confess that she did that on purpose.
That was because she had spotted Luke walking outside the shop windows, and he was accompanied by a woman.
From the way they were walking, they would soon enter the shop.
She wanted to see just how Luke would react to seeing Linda wear something so beautiful and sensual.
Any man who desired his partner would surely wrap his arms around her upon seeing her dressed so sensually, right?-
Soon, the woman and Luke walked into the shop.
Nancy looked at Luke and pretended to laugh as she loudly greeted him. “Mr. Foster!”
When the woman spotted Nancy, she immediately became defensive and unhappily asked, “Who are you?”
Nancy pursed her lips and did not respond to her.
That made the woman panic and filled with the urge to charge over to Nancy.
Luke immediately stopped her. “She’s just a friend. Calm down.”
It was only then that the woman suppressed her anger.
He handed her a dress. “Try this one.”
A pleased blush spread across the woman’s face when she heard that. Without hesitation, she

agreed to try the dress on.
“Luke, you really have good taste. Do you think it’ll look good on me too? Give me a few moments. I’ll change.”
The woman happily went into the dressing room.
Finally, he walked over to Nancy. “Where is she?”
“Who?” Nancy replied, pretending to be clueless,
He frowned. “You know who I’m talking about. She had hot pot with you earlier, and then you went shopping together.”
“Ah, so you knew about it. Did you rush all the way here to apologize, Mr. Foster?”
“Why should I apologize? I did nothing wrong. She was the one throwing a tantrum…
The last word was left unspoken as he stared in shock when Linda stepped out of the dressing
room.
What happened to her?
Linda was wearing a pink dress with long, flowy chiffon fabric wrapped around her legs in a mermaid cut. From the back, everything looked cohesive. Her snow-white skin glowed under the bright lights.
As the dress was made of lightweight fabric, she looked just like an angel as she radiated an ethereal beauty.
Of course, when she turned around and Luke saw the front of the dress, his face instantly darkened into a stormy glare.
Darn it! How can she wear something so sensual?
It was too revealing. He had explicitly instructed every production team to ensure she would never be asked to wear something like this dress.
And now, she was trying it on in the shop. Is she planning on buying it?
The front of the dress only had a few thin layers of chiffon draped over it. They were so thin that they barely covered anything.
Linda’s long and slender legs were peeking out from beneath the dress. If she walked out in that dress right now, all the men in the area would be staring at her the entire time.
