Seven Days Seven Nights (Nicholas and Nancy) novel Chapter 189

Chapter 189 Yes, I’m Jealous.

Linda pursed her lips and remained silent, feeling upset and miserable to the point where she didn’t even want to talk to Luke. Meanwhile, Luke glared at her with dark eyes, overwhelmed by anger. Silence fell in the dressing room, which had become extremely quiet. Perhaps the previous commotion had been quite loud, but the woman who had come with Luke suddenly rushed out. of the dressing room, even though she wasn’t fully dressed. Not finding Luke in the shop, she swiftly turned to Nancy and roared, “Where is Luke? What did you do to him?” Nancy shrugged and replied, “I did nothing. He left on his own.” “He left? Where did he go?” The woman’s face took on a sinister look. Nancy pointed at the shop doorway and said, “Outside. Maybe he thought you were too slow and troublesome.” The woman was furious, but she didn’t continue shouting at Nancy. Instead, she wanted to chase after Luke. Seeing that she was about to leave, a staff member ran after her and said, “Miss, you haven’t paid for that dress yet!” “Put it on Mr. Foster’s tab. It’s just a dress. Do you really think I won’t pay for it?” “I’m sorry, miss, but Mr. Foster never said it could. be put on his tab.” The woman angrily pulled a card out of her bag and handed it to the staff. Once the payment went through, she grabbed her card and charged out of the shop, wearing the black dress Luke had picked without looking, which was very unattractive. Couples who walked into the shop started whispering to each other, “That dress is so ugly. What’s wrong with her sense of fashion? How could she wear such an unflattering dress? It makes her look overweight and dull!” Nancy pursed her lips and smirked when she heard that. Then, she pulled out her phone. and messaged Linda, ‘Linda, enjoy your time with Mr. Foster. I’ll be off.

The dressing room was small, and when Linda reached down to grab her buzzing phone, she accidentally brushed her hand against Luke. In the blink of an eye, she immediately withdrew both hands, which displeased Luke. “Are you that afraid of touching me? Do you want to break up with me that badly?” When she didn’t speak and continued to keep her head lowered, his anger burned brighter. “Speak to me!” However, the more furious he became, the less she wanted to acknowledge him. “Linda…” He was so angry that he could only say her name. His hand grabbed her wrist tightly, causing her fair skin to turn red. “What do you want me to say? Linda finally asked, looking up. The combination of her pink lips and the sensual dress she was wearing made it incredibly difficult for Luke to restrain himself. However, he needed to hold himself back. As her boyfriend, he needed to make sure everyone knew that. He dipped his head down and kissed her on the lips with force. It all happened so fast that by the time Linda thought to protest, arms were already locked around her body, making it impossible for her to move. She had not choice but to keep her head tilted up and accept the kiss. Luke had put all his emotions into the kiss, but there was no warmth in it. It felt like he was only kissing her to vent his emotions. “Go away, you scoundrel! Let me go! Luke Foster, let me go!” Linda protested vigorously. Finally, he reluctantly let her go. As he raised a hand to wipe his lips, he turned the ordinary action into a seductive move filled with passion and desire. After straightening out her messy hair and clothes, Linda looked up at him with bloodshot eyes that shimmered with a stubborn glint. “Are you crying?” An indescribable pain rose in Luke when he saw the look in her eyes, and he loosened his grip around her. “Who’s crying? Not me,” she immediately refuted. He chuckled and hooked a hand around her neck to force her to look at him. “What do I do? You look beautiful even when you’re crying.” She had to admit that his declaration somewhat pacified her. As expected, women were creatures of emotion. They might be furious, but a few sweet praises from their men would make them immediately forget about the argument. “Tears go everywhere and make a mess of things when people cry. How am I pretty? I look ugly, okay?” Linda shot back. “Well, I say you’re beautiful, so that’s that,” Luke announced. His consistent defense of her filled her with warmth. Feeling much better, she reached out and gently tugged his shirt sleeve. “Did you say all that to

coas me and calm me down?” “Am I not obvious enough?” he shot back. She immediately shook. her head. He was being very, very obvious about it. Just then, Luke looked down at Linda’s chiffon dress and haughtily ordered. “You are not allowed to wear a dress like this again.” “Like what? I think it’s beautiful,” she said with a smile, intentionally being obtuse. His gaze darkened. If he weren’t in control of himself, he would have torn the dress to shreds and left the ashes to scatter in the wind. “The fabric is thin and sparse. What can these two straps in front of your chest hide?” He then looked down at her legs. This part as well. It’s ridiculously short!” Pretending not to understand what he meant, Linda smiled. “It’s not short. It’s actually an average length. Anyway She blinked at him as she purred. “Men like dresses like this, right? You’ll even turn and stare forever.” “Nonsense! Luke snapped. “No man would want their girlfriend to dress revealingly for other men to see, and my girlfriend is definitely not allowed to do that.” He stared into her eyes and continued, “Do not wear this kind of dress again. Do you know how the two men outside were staring at you? I wanted to gouge their eyes out.” “Are you jealous, Luke? Linda asked with a smirk. “Yes, I’m jealous’ He nodded and admitted it without hesitation. “Envious?” she asked again. He shook his head. “Not really. I just need you to show the most beautiful and soft-hearted side of yourself to me and no one else.” “Pervert” “Only to you. He then pulled the door open. scanned the shop, and picked out a dress. Handing it to her, he barked in a commanding tone. “You’ll be wearing this today” When Linda looked at the dress, she found that it was a very conservative outfit that would cover every single inch of her body without revealing any skin to the open air.

Luke could have easily enveloped her in a piece of fabric. What kind of dress is this?

“I don’t want to put on this!” Linda protested promptly.
