Seven Days Seven Nights (Nicholas and Nancy) novel Chapter 204

Chapter 204 Nancy’s Abduction

Nancy couldn’t bear it any longer as she stared at Felix’s outstretched hands.

She grabbed a broom from the balcony and tried to strike him with it.

Felix was far from being a prince.

He snatched the broom from Nancy and stomped on it, shattering it into pieces.

“You’re insane!”

Nancy quickly searched for her phone to call the police.

In a situation like this, she had to contact the authorities.

Initially, she believed that despite Felix’s depravity, he wouldn’t-stoop so low. She had memorized her mother’s final words and wanted to be kinder to him.

After all, when they had no one else to rely on and no other way out, he had saved them.

In reality, it hadn’t been out of the goodness of his heart, but rather for his own selfish desires. Nevertheless, Eunice had taught Nancy to repay a debt of gratitude with utmost sincerity.

Regardless, if it hadn’t been for Felix, Eunice wouldn’t have been able to give birth to Nancy. She might have died a long time ago.

That was why Nancy never considered calling the police.

She believed that things could be resolved privately, but now it seemed impossible.

She had to report this to the authorities.

However, as soon as Nancy grabbed her phone, Felix snatched it away from her.

“Give it back! Give me my phone back!”

Nancy fought to retrieve her phone.

Felix, of course, wouldn’t let her. He shoved Nancy.

There was a coffee table behind her.

Nancy couldn’t dodge in time, and her head collided with the corner of the table.

She immediately started bleeding.

Felix widened his eyes. He was a little taken aback, but it was the outcome he desired.

“You…” Nancy was in excruciating pain and could barely stay conscious. She pointed at Felix. “Are you even human? Even though I’m not… your daughter, you can’t kill…”

Before Nancy could finish speaking, she blacked out and slumped onto the floor.

Felix panicked.

After standing in a daze, he stumbled over and pushed Nancy while saying, “Nancy? Wake up, Nancy.”

There was no response.

The blood on her head made Felix even more afraid.

“Wake up, Nancy. Don’t try to scare me. It won’t work on me, do you hear me?”

Still, Nancy didn’t respond.

Felix was terrified. He reached out and put his finger under Nancy’s nose.

When he realized she was still breathing, he finally exhaled in relief.

Thank goodness. As long as she’s not dead.

He was a gambler, but he never wanted to harm anyone

“I told you all I wanted was the money. You’re the one who forced my hand. If you had just gathered the money like I asked and didn’t try to call the police, I wouldn’t have done this to you.”

Felix said these things to Nancy in an attempt to console himself.

Just then, someone banged on the door.

An angry voice shouted, “Are you finished yet?”

“I just need a little more time, Mr. Wolfe.”

“Felix, remember that you only have ten minutes left. If you can’t get me the money, you’ll lose your limbs.”

“I understand, Mr. Wolfe. Don’t worry. I guarantee you’ll be satisfied.”

Felix glanced at Nancy again before sighing. “It’s just as well that you’re unconscious. Since you couldn’t get me $140,000, you’ll have to pay the money back yourself. I raised you for over two decades. All I’m asking for is a bit of repayment. I’m already being generous enough.”

Soon, Felix opened the door.

A few burly men stormed in, making the house feel even smaller.

“Where’s the money?” the leader of the men asked.

When he saw Felix empty-handed, he flew into a rage and grabbed Felix by the collar. “Where’s the money? Where’s the $140,000? Do you still want your limbs?”

Felix immediately cowered. He was so scared that he pleaded for mercy. “P-Please, Mr. Wolfe, calm down. I still want my limbs, of course. Even though I didn’t get the $140,000, I know a way for you to

get much more. You could get a million, or even five million. Do you want to hear it, Mr. Wolfe?”

Puck Wolfe’s interest was piqued.

“Go on.”

“Yes, Mr. Wolfe. You see, this woman…” Felix pointed at the unconscious Nancy. “She’s my adopted daughter. Do you know who her husband-my son-in-law-is? He’s the president of the Sallow Group.”

However, the moment Puck heard that, he burst into laughter.

He slapped Felix multiple times in the face while saying, “Felix, that’s quite a lovely dream, but I suggest you wake up now. The president of the Sallow Group? Can your lie get any more absurd? Why don’t you claim she’s married to royalty, huh?”

The other men behind Puck also chuckled..

Felix tried his best to explain. “I’m not lying, Mr. Wolfe. I swear.”

“Do you think I’ll believe that the mighty Mr. Sallow wouldn’t have the money to pay off his father-in- law’s debt of $140,000?”

“You have to believe me, Mr. Wolfe. What about this? You can use her phone and make the call to check for yourself.”
