Seven Days Seven Nights (Nicholas and Nancy) novel Chapter 50

Chapter 50 Nancy Is Angry

“Nicholas, you’re here.”

Madelline immediately softened her voice and spoke pitifully as soon as she saw him.

Her hand was placed on the table. Bright red blood was flowing out.

Nicholas saw it at a glance.

He walked over, grabbed Madelline’s hand, and asked nervously, “How did that happen?”

Madelline said nothing and only pretended to be pitiful.

As if she had suffered a great grievance.

“Bring me a scarf. Nicholas waved and ordered.

Soon, the waiter brought the scarf and handed it to him respectfully.

Nicholas bent down and wrapped the scarf around Madelline’s wrist with his slender fingers.

His slender figure was facing away from Nancy. Nancy couldn’t see the expression on his face.

However, she could imagine it.

Nicholas must be extremely anxious and nervous.

As for her, she seemed to be invisible at the moment, completely ignored by Nicholas.

She lost.

Completely lost.

Without the courage to stay any longer, Nancy got up and left the coffee shop.

The wind blew violently at some point outside.

Even the sky became gloomy. Black clouds seemed to cover the entire city.

It’s so cold.

Looking at the dark sky, Nancy couldn’t help shivering.

She hugged her arms tightly, took out her mobile phone, and wanted to take a taxi home.

The taxi arrived. Just when she was about to get into the car..

Suddenly, she felt something heavy on her.

As soon as she turned around, Nicholas stood behind her, putting his coat on her.

Why did he get out?

Didn’t he unwilling to separate from Madelline that his heart ached terribly?

“Why didn’t you say something when you came out?” Nicholas looked at her and spoke with a low and gentle voice.

As if the person who was nervous about his first love just now was not him. The one to blame is Nancy.

“You were so lovey-dovey, I don’t have the nerve to bother you,” Nancy said.

This time, the impatient voice of the driver came from the taxi, “Miss, are you still taking the car? Don’t waste my time.”

Nancy was about to say “Yes”, but Nicholas quickly closed the car door and said to the driver, “No.”

“Why don’t you say it earlier? Isn’t this delaying my business in vain?”

“Give me your PayPal number.” Nicholas’ words were concise.

The driver immediately handed it over. Nicholas directly transferred 14 dollars. The driver immediately smiled after he heard the notification.

Before leaving, he did not forget to mediate the quarrel, “Miss, your husband is nice to you, so don’t be angry. Between a couple, there’s no such thing as an overnight feud; you should reconcile quickly.”

After that, the driver stepped on the accelerator and disappeared into the sea of cars.

Nancy looked at the disappearing car, annoyed.

She lowered her head, not looking at Nicholas, and kicked the stones on the ground with her toes. “You made me miss my taxi. How can I go back?”

After speaking, she felt a warmth in her hands.

Her soft and fair little hand was wrapped in Nicholas’ palm the next moment.

It’s windy. Is it cold?”

“It’s not cold,” Nancy said.

Then she took off his coat and threw it directly to Nicholas.

He looked at her intensely and asked, “Are you angry?”

Nancy turned around and deliberately ignored him.

Nicholas turned until he was face to face with her.

Of course, Nancy could not forgive him so easily. She remained silent and continued to ignore him.

Nicholas also noticed it. He didn’t force it; instead, he returned his coat to Nancy.

Nancy reached out and was about to throw his coat down again. Nicholas pulled it up and put it on again. At the same time, he said thoughtfully, “It’s windy, so put it on. Don’t catch a cold.”

“Your hands are as cold as ice cubes. How come you said you’re not cold?”

He continued to hold her hand in his palm and warm it carefully.

“What do you care?”

Nancy wanted to retract her hand, but Nicholas held it tightly. Nancy tried several times to resist but to no avail. She had no choice but to let him hold her hand.

At this time, Madelline came out in a wheelchair.

When she saw Nicholas, she looked like she was crying again, looking incredibly weak.

“Nicholas, are you going to leave me alone?”

“Mr. Sallow.” At this time, Lynn ran over, panting.

Nicholas looked deeply at Madelline, then ordered in a cold voice, “Send her to the hospital to treat her wound.”

“Yes, Mr. Sallow.”

“No, I don’t want him taking me there.” Madelline instinctively refused.

But Lynn’s speed was incredible. He immediately pushed Madelline’s wheelchair toward the underground garage.

After they left, Nicholas looked at Nancy and explained, “As a medical student, you should know that the place where her cut is an artery. If the blood continues to flow, it will be very dangerous.”

“That’s why I bandaged her up”

“Oh!” Nancy said lightly.

She didn’t pay attention to the injured part of Madelline’s hand just now.

If the artery is cut, it’s indeed more dangerous.

“Then do you feel better now and forgive me more?” Nicholas asked expectantly.

“No.”

Nancy answered decisively.

The wind outside was getting stronger.

The trees were blown crooked. The leaves were trembling wildly. The clothes of pedestrians were blown up by the strong wind, almost unable to keep warm.
