Seven Days Seven Nights (Nicholas and Nancy) novel Chapter 98

Chapter 98 His Tenderness, His Doting

Nicholas turned around and looked at Luke in disbelief. “Tell me again, who gave it to you?”

“Your wife gave it to Linda, and Linda gave it to me. Is there anything wrong with it?” Luke raised his eyebrows.

Luke thought his explanation should be very clear,

“I’m leaving.”

After saying this, Nicholas left.

On his way home, his car was moving very fast that it seemed to fly in the rain.

When he got home, Nicholas quietly opened the door.

In the bedroom, only a wall lamp emitting a dim light.

Nancy dozed off on the bed. The king bed was wide and spacious, but she only occupied a very small space.

When Nicholas came closer, he found she was hugging herself and curled up in a tiny ball on the bed.

As he looked at it, he suddenly felt bitter.

His heart felt even more upset.

No matter what, he shouldn’t have left Nancy here alone. Particularly on a day with thunder and rain like today, the day she feared the most.

After taking off his clothes, Nicholas quietly climbed onto the bed and held Nancy in his arms.

Maybe Nancy was too scared, so when she felt his warm embrace and smelled the familiar scent, she didn’t refuse and just curled up in his arms.

When Nancy opened her eyes in the morning and saw Nicholas, she was shocked.

Why is he back? When did he come back?

She remembered that when Nicholas left, he slammed the door and walked out angrily. Why did she wake up with him in her bed again?

This series of changes was so weird.

Nancy did not wake up Nicholas, though she had a lot of questions in mind.

Nancy carefully took off his hands on her waist and slid out of bed, but her waist suddenly tightened before she could leave the bed.

She was drawn into Nicholas’ arms the very next second.

“Why did you wake up so early? Did you sleep well?”

Because he hadn’t woken up yet, Nicholas’ voice was particularly low and sexy, especially the laziness that intoxicated her.

Nancy’s heart skipped a beat, she quickly replied, I… slept well.”

“I’m going to get up. If you haven’t slept enough, sleep a little longer.”

She said that and wanted to get up.

However, Nicholas pulled her into the bed with his strong hands and put his hands around her waist again. “You sleep with me. I can’t sleep if you don’t stay with me.”

When Nancy heard this, her heart began to race.

This was obviously something she had often said to him before. Was that her line?

When did he remember it?

And he returned the line to her exactly the same.

“Nicholas, you’re acting shamelessly.”

“Mmm…”

Nicholas drags out his voice and whispered in a low tone.

That low tone was as sexy as ever.

“It doesn’t matter if I have to act shamelessly just to hug my wife. It’s worth it.”

He still closed his eyes tightly, pretending to be sleeping soundly. He held Nancy’s waist with both hands tyrannically and spoke stubbornly.

For some reason, Nancy felt that he was acting coquettishly like a spoiled brat.

But she soon shook off the idea out of her head.

Acting coquettishly?

Nicholas acted like a spoiled brat?

It’s impossible.

Definitely impossible.

She must be overthinking.

The two of them finally got up at noon.

Nancy was hungry when she got up, so she ate heartily without holding back.

When Nicholas saw her eating quickly, he reminded her, “Slow down, no one will snatch your food. You may choke if you eat too fast.”

“It’s okay, I got this,” Nancy said.

After eating a large piece of bread, two bowls of rice, and drinking a glass of milk, Nancy finally full and felt a little better.

She was content as she put down the milk.

Nancy grinned when she thought that the baby was also feasting on food in her belly.

Nicholas was immediately in awe because of this smile.

Under the sun, her smile was as bright as ever, warm and brilliant. So charming.

Her gentle smile, breathtaking face, beautiful long neck, and pink lips, all caught Nicholas’

attention.

Finally, his gaze fell on the white stain at the corner of her mouth.

A faint layer of white stained the corners of Nancy’s mouth.

It must be the milk she just drank was so creamy that it left a stain.

“Nancy…” Nicholas spoke and his tone was too gentle to be true.

“Huh?” She raised her head and asked.

Nicholas touched the corner of his mouth to remind her.

Nancy also reacted quickly. She reached out and wiped the corners of her mouth subconsciously. However, this wipe failed to remove the milk and left a white stain across the entire lips, possibly because she wasn’t aware of the precise position.

Nicholas got to his feet and strode over to Nancy’s side.

He suddenly bent down and gently rubbed Nancy’s mouth with his warm fingertips.

Nancy’s heart began beating wildly.

The man she had loved for ten years suddenly did such a gentle and intimate gesture to her. Of course she couldn’t keep calm.
