Severance Of Ties novel Chapter 12

Chapter Twelve

"Deary! She is already in pressure, and she doesn't want to celebrate anything without her family. Try to understand love." Yasmin softly tells her daughter, who visibly looked upset due to Mushk's behavior.

An understanding look passes on her face.

"But mom, aren't we her family?" Yasmin shakes her head at her stupid daughter.

"Of course we are, but the thing of real blood family is very different." She tells Hana, hitting her head slightly.

Hana pouts at her mother and sulkily sits there, Yasmin only smiles at her and leaves the room.

Mushk comes out of the washroom only to see Hana still sitting there. From what Mushk could see, she knew her behavior hurt this poor girl who only wanted to celebrate.Hana looks up hearing the washroom door shut.

"I..I was just…going to..go” Stuttering in between, Hana stands up.

Mushk felt bad for scaring her. Silently cursing herself, she goes towards her and makes her sit on the bed.

"I'm sorry, its just that I didn't imagine all of this to happen. My world turned upside down just in few hours and I don't even know whats happening. My mind is all jumbled up." Mushk softly tells her.

It didn't look like a wedding was about to happen in few hours there, the atmosphere was gloomy and the weather outside had turned sour.

Low thunder could be heard, as if they were trying to warn Mushk to stop the upcoming storm. But what can a mere storm do when the creator of all creations already wrote her fate.

Mushk looked at her palm and no, they weren't the deepest shade of red. The saffron color on her palms scared her a bit. She was anxious at what this color meant, because like many other, she too believed in the myth, which was very famous.

All the things were warning her, first the weather and then her henna, but the greatest of all wanted it to happen and it will happen.

She was silently sitting in the living room, having nothing to do she just kept her eyes on the boys who were playing on the floor, and Ibrahim for the first time opened up to Mujtaba, though he was more fascinated by the baby in his fathers arms.
