Chapter Thirty Five

He sits down, holding his mothers hand ,who was worriedly biting her lips.

"Irtaza... It's been.. Months.. Since Mushk has contacted me. There were some missed calls, but now the number is out of service." Yasmin slowly tells all this to his son who was oddly calm hearing all this.

He always doubted Zohan, and his doubts were slowly turning into truth.

"And you're telling me all this now mom? What were you doing since these many days?" Irtaza gruffly asks his mother who just looks down.

"I thought I would give her some time to settle, but now I'm scared of Irtaza. Do something, even Zohan's number is off." Yasmin worriedly tells him who nods his head and gets up, taking his car keys he saunters towards the main door.

"May God keep you safe" Yasmin murmurs a small prayer for Mushk, not knowing that her prayers will be answered soon, she wasn't her own mother but she had a mothers heart and God never said no to a mother's prayer.

Mustafa's room was being cleaned and a nurse was supervising it when the cleaner hurriedly came to her pointing under his pillow, where many folded papers were present.

“Mushk, meet my wife Soniya, Soniya this is the so called wife I was telling you about.” Zohan smirks at her, happiness bubbles inside him seeing Mushk’s broken expression.

And just when Mushk thought that this man had done all the things possible to break her and couldn't break her anymore, she was proved wrong.

The dull ache gets strong in her heart, she knows she’ll never be able to forgive the man in front of her. Heartbreak is easy to get over if you feel angry with a person but she pitied this man, no ,he wasn’t even a man, he was a coward.

"Why?" She brokenly whispers, her face was blank, tears dried up. She didn’t have any more tears left to waste on this man.
