Severance Of Ties novel Chapter 49

Chapter Forty Nine

"You think I don't know anything? All these luxuries you're living in, all these gold and glitters, everything is under my control. Obviously I'll come to know about it." He yells at his son, brushing his hand through his hair.

"Tch, I almost forgot about all those good for nothing lawyers of yours." Zohan tsks at his father.

"Zohan what's wrong with you? You were never like this, What changed?" His father helplessly asks him who smirks at him and then painfully looks at his father.

"It's all your fault dad, all yours. If you hadn't committed that sin, then Mushk would've been still with me."Zohan painfully whispers.

"What are you saying? What have I done?" His father curiously asks him.

"Think think." Muttering, Zohan leaves the room while his mother stood at a corner smirking at her successful plan.

A knock resonated in the almost empty house, Mushk opens the door to see Zohan standing there. Shocked, she steps back and tries to close the door ,when he pushes it and steps inside.

"Wha-what are you d-doing here?" Mushk stutters, clearly afraid of him.

"I...I.. I am I'm so sorry Mushk, I know I shouldn't have done all those things... But.. I did.. and I'm sorry." Zohan pleads.

"Leave Zohan." Mushk whispers to him looking here and there, to see if anyone will come and help.

Irtaza was well aware that this isn't the appropriate time for him to go to her room, but he couldn't control himself and her inner self was also rooting on checking upon her once.

Slowly opening the door he peeps to see Murtuza and Mujtaba fast asleep, while Mushk was no where near them, making his heart race.

He was about to enter the room when he heard someone softly crying.

Stealthily he enters the room, but still stood near the door and there, on the corner of the room was Mushk, sitting on the prayer mat.

Her hands cupped and raised in front of the one and only, she sat there wrapped in an off white scarf.
