Severance Of Ties novel Chapter 55

Chapter Fifty Five

4months and 10 days later, the girl he loved so much was standing in front of him.

And finally her eyes didn't hold pain or helplessness, her once sunken cheeks were now full and rosy.

It was as if ,these 4 months she was on a self care vacation. She was finally the old Mushk.

"Hello!" Her slow, soft whisper brought him back from his la la land and he softly replied and looked down when he felt someone tugging his pants.

There stood the ever still toothless Murtaza, with only a few teeth here and there. Chuckling at him, he takes him in his arms and gets inside with Mushk following him.

Mushk hurriedly goes to her aunt, too worried to even care about anything else.

"What am I gonna do? 4 months have passed but Mustafa hasn’t even lifted a finger." Mushk sobs, complaining to her aunt.

"Trust Irtaza, Mushk. I know he has something up his sleeve." Yasmin's consoles Mushk.

"How much time more? Tomorrow is the hearing and-.... " Mushk was interrupted by Irtaza who stood near the door, hearing each and every word.

"Marry me!." Irtaza curtly tells her, making her jaw drop at his insane order.

Yasmin grabs this chance for a pep talk and holds her arm, motioning her towards the bed they both sit down.

"I know what you've been through Mushk, and trust me when I say, there is no better man for you out there other than my son. I know whatever happened has been very traumatic for you." Yasmin gently tells her.

"But aunt.. I-I can't..", Mushk stammers, she knew there is no reason to say no, she just didn't want to get tied again due to Circumstances.

"It's okay if you don't trust Irtaza, but trust my upbringing child. He will never ever do those things what Zohan did. I would kill him myself if he even lay a hand on you. For me, you will always come first." Yasmin firmly tells her and expectantly looks at Mushk ,who was in deep thinking.

Banquet was booked for their wedding and it was beautifully set up with fairy lights and white roses with red ones, happiness was finally making it's way on their door.
