She Outshines Them All (Athena and Matthew) novel Chapter 23

Chapter 23
“You want to come too?” Isaac was taken aback. “Is that really appropriate?”
Mr. Graham was a distinguished figure, and this meeting is likely about business. Bringing his newly eighteen-year-old daughter along seemed out of place.
“Why not?” Gia said as she walked over and playfully linked her arm with his “Dad, I promise I won’t be a distraction.”
She paused, lifting her chin with a proud glint in her eyes. “Let me tell you, I’m an up-and-coming designer under the moniker Yaen. I just won first prize in the International Diamond Jewelry Design Competition! I’m currently setting up my own studio and planning to launch my jewelry brand. Many investors are eager to collaborate with me.”
The Graham Group is heavily involved in diamond mining, so I believe Mr. Graham and I will have plenty to discuss.” Now, with her prestigious background and rising status in the jewelry design world, she felt she was finally worthy of standing beside Mr. Graham.
“Oh my gosh, you’re Yaen?” Regina exclaimed, standing up with her hands on her cheeks, as if she were a fan meeting her idol. “Sweetheart, I adore your work. You’re a genius! I’m so proud of you, and I want to tell all of Kitmore City about your
achievements!”
Regina was a jewelry enthusiast, always up-to-date with the latest releases from various brands. Just last month, she had admired Yaen’s Dream series and had been thinking about buying a set.
Little did she know, Yaen was her own daughter! She was so overjoyed she could hardly contain herself.
Gia smiled modestly. “It’s nothing, really. I’m just starting out and have a long way to go.”
Isaac was stunned, taking a moment before patting his daughter’s shoulder, “Gia, you’re truly amazing! Why didn’t you tell me something so important sooner! If I had known, I would have announced it to the world! Know that your mom and I fully support your dreams…”
Micah, Isaac’s assistant, kept glancing at his watch and finally couldn’t hold back. “Mr. Kennedy, it’s twenty minutes to nine. If you want to meet Mr. Graham, we need to leave now.”
Isaac snapped back to reality. “Oh, right.”
“Gia, you’re coming with me.”
“Im going too,” Andrew said confidently as he stood up. “The TV series I starred in premiered two days ago, and it’s doing exceptionally well. Industry insiders predict it will be a huge hit. Several brands have already contacted my agent about advertising and endorsement deals.”
“Once I meet Mr. Graham, I can prioritize doing ads and endorsements for the Graham Group’s products.” Andrew
continued.
The Graham Group was one of the top global conglomerates, capable of influencing national and even global economies. If he could establish a connection with the heir of the Graham Group, the possibilities for his future would be limitless.
Zoe, who had accompanied him, couldn’t help but suppress a slight twitch at the corner of her mouth. She wanted to tell him that, since he had just returned to the country, he might not be aware that the Graham Group has never collaborated with newcomers for advertising to avoid potential risks that could harm their brand.
However, she chose not to say it outright and instead gently advised, “Andrew, Mr. Graham is a very private person. He specifically asked to meet your uncle. It should be enough for him to take Gia along. Bringing too many people might upset
him
She paused briefly. “Im sure your uncle and Gia will be able to secure a collaboration with Mr. Graham. You can wait until

your show finishes airing and your popularity peaks before meeting him.”
Andrew considered this and agreed it made sense. He had just started gaining recognition, and it would be more advantageous to meet Mr. Graham once he was at the height of his fame.
So he sat back down. “Alright, I’ll go next time.”
Regina smiled. “Isaac, you should take Gia and introduce her properly to Mr. Graham
As a woman, she could easily read her daughter’s intentions. And she thought it was a good idea! Her daughter was so outstanding that she deserved a man like Mr. Graham, As for Lucas and the Harper family, they were nothing compared to the Graham Group.
Isaac, eager to meet Mr. Graham, didn’t want to delay. “Okay, let’s go now.”
With just a minute to spare before nine o’clock, father and daughter arrived, slightly out of breath, at the private suite on the top floor of the club. Each suite on this floor had its own elevator, ensuring privacy. Anyone who could afford a suite here was certainly well-off.
At this point, Isaac was confident that the person who had invited him was indeed Mr. Graham, or at least someone who wouldn’t be a threat to his safety.
Louis Connor, Mr. Graham’s secretary, was already waiting at the suite’s entrance. Seeing Isaac, he glanced at his watch and said calmly, “Mr. Graham is inside. You may enter.”
With that, he opened the door just wide enough for one person to pass through.
Isaac peeked inside. The room was dimly lit, with soft music playing, making it hard to discern the interior. He hesitated for a moment and introduced, “Mr. Connor, this is my daughter, Gia She has some business she’d like to discuss with Mr. Graham. Could she join us?”
“No, Louis replied impassively. “Mr. Graham specifically asked to meet you alone. He won’t see anyone else.”
Isaac asked, “Could you at least mention it to Mr. Graham?”
-Louis cut him off. “You can either go in alone or leave immediately.”
Isaac felt a bit humiliated but didn’t dare protest. He apologized to Gia, “Gia, I’ll go in first. Please wait here.”
Gia bit her lip, struggling to maintain her composure. The door was open, so Mr. Graham could likely hear their conversation, yet he remained silent, indicating he didn’t want to see her.
Why wouldn’t he want to meet her? She was beautiful, just eighteen, and under the soft hallway light, she must look like a newly blossomed rose, captivating and radiant. How could he not be intrigued?
She longed to rush into the suite and let Mr. Graham see just how enchanting she was up close. But she held back, restraining herself, and whispered to her father, “Go ahead. Introduce me if there’s a chance.”
Isaac nodded and entered the suite. The door closed behind him.
“Mr. Graham?” he called cautiously, moving forward slowly. “I’m Isaac Kennedy.”
“Have a seat,” came a cool, magnetic voice from the shadows ahead.
The suite was enormous, easily over a hundred square meters at first glance. Isaac followed the sound of the voice, taking several steps forward, but still couldn’t see where Mr. Craham was seated. He called out softly again, “Mr. Graham?”
Suddenly, a soft “meow” echoed, and two green lights appeared in the darkness to his right. Startled, Isaac stepped back, nearly losing his balance.
