Susan was originally in the evening shift, but her heart was inexplicably uneasy, and her right eyelid kept twitching wildly. 

The first thing she thought of was Scarlett, and she hurriedly called her. She called several times, but she did not pick up. 

She was a little anxious and immediately rushed to the small apartment after taking leave. She called as she rushed. 

Just as she opened the door of the small apartment, the phone was connected 

She immediately breathed a sigh of relief and asked anxiously. “Scarlett, what are you doing? Why aren’t you answering the phone? I’m so worried!” 

Scarlett’s voice did not come from the other side of the line. Instead, a female voice sounded. “Is it Miss Sales’ sister?” 

Hearing that it was a stranger who picked up the phone, Susan’s heart skipped a beat. 

“I am, you are?” 

I am Dr. Lanny. I met you at your apartment last time.” 

“Dr. Lanny?” 

Susan frowned, her face full of nervousness and confusion. 

“Why did you use Scarlett’s phone to answer the phone? Did something happen to her?” 

“Nothing happened. Don’t be too nervous.” 

Lanny remembered the last time Scarlett gave her a crazy wink, so she dared not tell Susan the truth. 

However, Susan sensed that something was wrong. “Dr. Lanny, don’t lie to me. Every time Scarlett has a heart attack. I feel very nervous. I can feel that something is wrong with her. Tell me quickly, where is she now?” 

Seeing that she could not hide it anymore, Lanny could only tell Susan the truth. She did not tell her about her heart failure and only said that she was unconscious. 

Hearing that Scarlett was unconscious, Susan almost collapsed. 

She clung to the door frame and pleaded in a quivering voice, “Dr. Lanny, could you please give me the address of the hospital? 

Lanny told Susan the address and calmed her emotions. “Miss Croft, don’t worry. She is in my hospital and I will keep an eye on her. You should prepare some clothes for her to change into. She should be hospitalized for a while.” 

Lanny’s calm voice brought some strength to Susan. 

She steadied herself, thanked the caller, hung up the phone, and, trembling, walked into Scarlett’s bedroom. 

She packed a few clothes in a panic, took the toiletries, and drove to the hospital in a hurry. 

Upon seeing Susan rush in angrily, Lanny, who had been doing a detailed examination for Scarlett, put down the stethoscope and looked at her. 

“Miss Croft, don’t be so anxious. It’s easy to catch a breath.” 

Susan didn’t care about the problem now. She put down her things and hurried to Scarlett. 

When she saw Scarlett lying on the hospital bed with a layer of gauze wrapped around her forehead, Susan’s face suddenly changed 

She rushed over, raised her trembling hand and touched the wound on her forehead. Her eyes were full of distress and doubts. 

“Dr. Lanny, didn’t my Scarlett have a heart attack? Why is there an injury on her forehead?” 

Susan turned her head and looked at Lanny with confused eyes, making Lanny feel so guilty that she did not dare to look straight at her. 

“Today, in order to help me, Miss Sales offended Mr. Jackman’s cousin. That’s why she got revenge in the mall…” 

Lanny told Susan everything that happened without hiding anything.
