She’s Married, Sir (Scarlett and Sebastian) novel Chapter 200

Chapter 200

Clenching the letter in his hand, he raised his red eyes and gazed out of the window at the afterglow.

He watched the fading light of the afterglow until nightfall, his hope gradually diminishing.

The moment the sky was completely dark, the world was quiet.

He stood in the dark, looking for light everywhere.

But the light had already been pushed away by him personally….

Dev, fearing that Sebastian might hurt Susan, broke free from Leo’s control and hastened back to the apartment.

Susan was unharmed, sitting on the sofa in the living room, and secretly wiping her tears. He breathed a sigh of relief.

“He left!”

Susan shook her head and looked in the direction of the bedroom. “He’s in there.”

Dey walked over and saw Sebastian sitting on the floor like a dead person.

Dev guessed right. This man loved Scarlett but he had never revealed his feelings.

He looked at the letter in Sebastian’s hand and couldn’t help but go forward and grab it.

Upon seeing that the letter was penned by Scarlett to Sebastian, his forced and calm facade abruptly crumbled.

It turned out that Scarlett really fell in love with Sebastian. She didn’t deliberately say those angry words to drive Dev away.

Dey had seen through Sebastian’s feelings for her clearly, yet he was so selfish that he kept it a secret, resulting in Scarlett dying without ever knowing.

As guilt and regret surged, a profound sense of loss also engulfed him.

Scarlett left a will letter for Sebastian but did not leave it for him. It seems that she really did not love him….

Sebastian, numb from the pain for so long, felt as if someone had taken away Scarlett’s letter, and his eyes suddenly filled with tears.

He quickly got up and took back the letter. As if protecting a rare treasure, he folded it and placed it tightly by his heart.

He didn’t even look at Dev as he held the wall and walked out….

It was already dark, and Sebastian walked out of the community slowly.

Leo, waiting outside the community, saw him walk out unsteadily and hastened to support him.

“Mr. Jackman, are you alright?”

Sebastian pushed Leo’s hand away and continued to walk forward in a daze.

Leo was afraid that something would happen to him and wanted to follow him, but he sternly exclaimed, “Don’t follow me!”

He stumbled towards the cemetery, as if punishing himself, and walked to her grave.

He dared not look at her photo during the day, but now that he had seen it, his heart was ripped apart, causing him to tremble with pain.

He knelt down on one knee in front of the grave and raised his hand to gently stroke her photo.

On the other side, she revealed a quiet and elegant smile, her eyes curved, very beautiful.

The more he looked at her, the more he thought of her, longing drilling into his bones.

However, she had already turned into a pile of ashes, and he could no longer touch her….

“I’m sorry…”

He was fearful that they would uncover his emotions for her, and that she would end up like Tamara, leaving him with no other option but to strike her.

But in the end, it was because he was too useless that he would hurt her in the name of “protection”.

But God, he clearly lived in a hell that would never be illuminated by the light of day. Yet, why did she still give him a glimmer of hope?

He couldn’t help but reach out his hand, striving to climb out of hell and bask in the sunlight.
