She’s Married, Sir (Scarlett and Sebastian) novel Chapter 35

Chapter 35

Once her eyes were covered, all that lay before her was a darkness so complete that not even a glimmer of light could be

seen.

The fear of darkness plunged her into an endless abyss, making her feel as if she were struggling in vain to escape.

It was only then that she realized she had encountered a freak even more terrifying and harder to handle than James!

Terror caused her to break out in a cold sweat, her legs trembling uncontrollably.

Her eyes were blindfolded and her hands were bound, leaving her completely immobile.

She tried to calm herself and attempted to communicate with him.

“Sir.”

She clenched her jaw and demanded in a quavering tone, “What in the world are you doing?”

He picked her up without answering her.

Scarlett felt herself being lifted into the air and then thrown onto the soft bed.

She thought the man wanted to violate her, yet he remained seated beside her without touching her.

Scarlett felt the front of the bed sinking beneath her, confirming that she was lying in the middle.

“It’s just a remedy to liven things up.”

She forced herself to calm down and then responded.

She had no idea who the man was and would never divulge the truth to him.

The man seemed to sneer, “It’s the same old act and drugs. Seems like you guys are always up for a good time.”

Believing her words, Scarlett pursed her lips and said nothing.

The man’s anger was palpable in the silence that ensued, and her chin was suddenly gripped by a cold hand.

Scarlett, pondering if the man intended to pinch her to death, was interrupted by the ringing of a cell phone.

The quiet atmosphere in the room was instantly broken.

He let go of her chin and retrieved her phone.

Scarlett noticed that he seemed to want to pick up the phone and pleaded, “It’s Mr. Forrest. He has something pressing to tell me. Could you let me take it?”

The man saw her nervous expression and his hoarse voice suddenly grew icy. “What? Are you scared he’ll discover your
