She’s Married, Sir (Scarlett and Sebastian) novel Chapter 77

Chapter 77

“Mr. Gatsby, it’s time to go.”

Dey saw Scarlett in a dare, until Phylo gave a light cough beside him, jolting him back to reality.

He nodded and then guided Scarlett out.

When they emerged from the store, Annie, who was shopping with her sisters, spotted them.

She looked at Scarlett, incredulous, as she had changed into makeup.

When she first encountered Scarlett, she sensed a certain air of poise and found her to be even more beautiful.

When she saw her again, she felt that she was even more regal than a socialite.

Glancing back at the exclusive brand shop that could only be accessed with a VIP card, she sighed.

Only then did she realize that the man Scarlett secured this time was even more affluent than James.

Lance would definitely be unwilling to part with tens of millions just to buy them for her.

She was not convinced, pondering why Scarlett got better things than herself when they were both out to sell.

Angrily fishing out her phone, she recorded a video and sent it to Lance.

“Lance, you see. Miss Sales has sucked up to a new nepo. This time, her partner is much wealthier. He has splurged a lot of cash just to purchase clothes for her.”

She had studied the wealthy inhabitants of A Town, yet she had not studied Dey from the capital, thus she was unfamiliar with him

She thought he was a newly-risen noble, for he looked so young

Lance had been playing golf for an hour when he finally sat down to look at his phone.

Upon seeing the video, he was so enraged that he ground his teeth together.

Scarlett actually asked Dev to buy her a dress of high quality?

He discarded the golf club and forwarded the video to Sebastian.

“Look at this Miss Sales, brother,” said the second. “She’s clearly fearless!”

Sebastian, mid-meeting, was distracted by the sound of his phone vibrating.

He would never, in keeping with his past personality, glance at his phone during a meeting.

He unexpectedly picked up his phone and glanced at it.

Upon viewing the video. his cold and aloof expression softened.

Did he not take him into consideration, or was he so enamored with the other party that he couldn’t break away?

He dared to disregard his warning and was even brazen enough to be with Dev!

His expression was one of having fallen into an icy cavern, chillingly cold.

Almost without any hesitation, he directly picked up his phone and left.

Upon seeing the president abruptly depart with a grim expression, everyone in the conference room was left dumbfounded.

Everyone sympathetically looked at the Vice President as he reported his work.

Everyone agreed that it was likely due to Vice President Hunt’s negligence that Mr. Jackman was angered.

Vice President Hunt, his head drenched in cold sweat, exclaimed, “It’s done for, I’m getting the boot!”

The Wen family held a banquet at their Manor to celebrate the return of their daughter from abroad.

Originally, due to Dev’s status, he would not have attended a banquet for a family as small as the Wen family.

He and Wen family’s heir were good friends, often gathering in the capital, so they naturally came to attend

The deeper purpose of the banquet, however, was to select suitable young talents for their daughter.

Dev’s refusal of a friend’s invitation was not a good idea, but he was afraid of being chosen by Wen family’s daughter, so he asked Scarlett to stand in as his female companion for the time being

Once Scarlett had grasped the significance of Dev’s words, she was no longer so inhibited. She complied with his instructions and willingly acted as a shield

Dev offered his arm to her and guided her to the manor.
