When Scarlett saw him leave, she picked up her coffee and walked into the meeting room. 

The bidding meeting had already begun. The lights in the meeting room were off, and only the big screen was lit.

Her heart was still pounding when Dev suddenly said in her ear, “Scarlett, don’t be afraid.” 

Scarlett widened her eyes and looked at Dev in disbelief. “What did you say?”
