Chapter 273
Millie drove Rachel home. When she was about to leave, Rachel asked, “Are you coming to the entertainment industry party tomorrow night?”
Millie gazed at Rachel, who suddenly approached. She leaned on the car window, her bangs dancing in the wind. There was a palpable sense of longing in her expression.
Rachel truly desired Millie’s company for the dinner, clearly uncomfortable at the thought of attending alone. Millie sighed when she saw how pitiful she looked. She couldn’t refuse this beautiful woman.
“Okay, okay, I’ll go with you,” Millie said with a hint of resignation.
Rachel grinned. “See you tomorrow night.”
“Fine, I’ll just steal your spotlight then,” Millie teased.
However, Rachel remained unfazed. She walked into her house after Millie drove away.
On her way back, Millie checked the latest news. To her great relief, no one had leaked the fact that she had attended the car race and engaged in such a cruel act.
Millie suddenly felt hungry, so she called Marvin. “Let’s go somewhere to eat?”
Marvin accelerated immediately and drove alongside her car. Millie looked at him through the rearview window and smiled.
The cars accelerated, driving one after the other until they stopped in front of Yerwick University. Marvin opened the car door and looked around. “What are we going to eat?”
“Cranurian cuisine,” replied Millie.
She didn’t know why, but she suddenly craved Cranurian cuisine. Marvin followed Millie into
the restaurant.
The owner was enthusiastic when she noticed Millie. “Miss, you’re back! Table for two? Please follow me upstairs.”
Millie nodded in response.
Marvin asked, “Who did you come with before?”
Millie was about to answer when she saw a photo of the owner hanging on the wall. She slowed down her pace as she ascended the stairs.
The walls of the stairs leading upstairs were all covered with photos of the owner and customers. A brand new, clean photo caught Millie’s attention.
“Ah. You came with Mr. Greer,” Marvin said faintly.

Millie glared at him and went upstairs. Marvin looked at the photo again and thought that she and Winston were a good couple. However, unrequited love couldn’t sustain a relationship.
Afterward, he followed closely. Millie ordered a lot of food.
“Eat less spicy food. It’s bad for your stomach,” Marvin reminded her.
Millie ignored him and glanced at her phone. She noticed two unread messages on WhatsApp and clicked on them to read.
The messages were from Arthur. “Mills, do you remember what I asked you to do before?”
After reading that, Millie frowned.
The next message was, “You promised me that you would find Aspher for your grandma. Did you forget?”
Millie was taken aback at first. Then, she remembered that she had promised Arthur that she would get Aspher for him.
“Marvin, can you help me check if we have Aspher in our warehouse?” Millie instructed
Marvin.
Marvin nodded and pulled out his phone to assist her in checking the availability in the M
system.
Millie lowered her phone and heard Marvin say, “Boss, we don’t have Aspher.”
He then asked curiously, “What kind of plant is Aspher?”
Millie was a little surprised that she didn’t have Aspher in her warehouse. She had been under the impression that she had it, so she agreed to Arthur’s request.
