Millie traveled to M Base right away as she needed to find out the culprit who exposed Joanna’s fake qualifications. She couldn’t stand the false accusations directed at her. 

When she arrived, Marvin was in the middle of checking the security footage. He checked every nook and cranny, but he didn’t see anyone entering Sebastian’s office. 

Millie’s icy voice rang in the air. “Check the windows in the footage.” 

He turned and found Millie standing behind her. “Boss, when did you arrive?” 

“Just now,” she said through gritted teeth. 

Marvin was too absorbed in watching the footage to notice her arrival. He grunted and quickly switched the scene. Then, he stole a cautious glance at Millie. 

She’d asked to look at the windows… Wait a minute. He smirked in disbelief. 

“Are we checking the windows at the hospital? Boss, we’re talking about the 30th floor. Who’d be that crazy to climb through windows just to report Joanna? By the way, there’s no way one could access the windows from the outside.” 

“Sebastian Lloyd’s office windows open out to a balcony. It’s possible to get into his office through the windows,” she cleared up his doubts. 

Marvin quickly displayed the footage from within Sebastian’s office. One of the angles displayed the view of the balcony. 

They were interrupted by a text notification on Millie’s phone. It was from Winston. “Anyway, you should apologize to Joanna when you’re free to calm her down.” 

Rolling her eyes, she replied, “Yeah. Like I would.” 

After sending out the text, she blocked his number. Earlier, she had unblocked it because she needed to communicate with him on divorce matters. Looking back, she thought it would be better to keep him. blocked for her peace of mind. 

Last time, she failed to look into the culprit who leaked the news about her divorce. This time, she vowed to shove the truth in Winston’s face when she got to the bottom of Joanna’s incident. Then, she would demand an apology from him. 

“Look. There’s a shadow.” Marvin pointed at the window in the footage.. 

She noticed that the timestamp showed it was 1:00 am. That matched with the timeline, as Sebastian had found the letter this morning. 

The culprit moved carefully into the blind spot, pressing against the window to prevent the camera from capturing their face. 

Marvin lamented, “Oh, we can’t see him now.” 

Millie bit her lips while stroking her chin. The figure looked rather familiar, 

Suddenly, Marvin blurted out, “He must be someone from the hospital, right? He found his way into the director’s office without issue.”

did Winston Greer upset you again? Drew invented a new Trojan Horse virus lately. Let’s continue to hack him!” Marvin suggested while going through the footage. 

The mention of hacking Winston irked Millie. She slapped Marvin on the head. “I haven’t taught you a lesson for selling me out last time. Did you know how much I paid in compensation?”
