Chapter 304
Millie then signed the Acknowledgement of Risk Form.
After she registered for the race, a man in a cap showed up. Standing at six feet tall, he looked cool in a black athletic outfit.
He registered himself as “Shaun“.
The person in charge informed them, “Alright. Wait for the next round to start.”
Shaun stood beside Millie as she warmed up. She stole a few more glances at him. His head hung low, hiding most of his face under his cap.
She noticed his tall, straight nose and sexy lips. She didn’t need to see his eyes to know he was hot.
When he looked up, Millie was already doing downward stretches. That was how they missed each other’s glance.
Soon, it was time for the race. Millie rented a green racecar. There were four racers in this round.
The track at Ambrose Street was as tough as Python Mountain’s, a test for the experience and technique
of the racers.
The racers who completed the last round mumbled, “Wow. There’s a woman.”
“It’s been a while since I saw a female racer. Seven was the last one.”
“Races without Seven is boring,” another piped up.
Everyone laughed. “Well, we have no choice. No one could find Seven after she vanished.”
During their conversation, the race kicked off. Millie’s green car accelerated without hesitation. The guys exclaimed, “That’s badass!”
“She seems angry.”
“Haha! The guy in the other car must be so flustered.”
All the racers accelerated slowly and steadily, unlike Millie, who immediately hit the gas.
The racers behind her cussed, “Damn it!”
As the track was lengthy, most racers would show off their techniques at the start before speeding up toward the middle and the end.
Millie, however, upended their usual pace.
Soon, the blue car caught up with her. She glanced to the side. The driver was that man who stood beside her when she did her warmups.
She couldn’t see beyond his side profile, but he had long lashes. He was certainly pretty and hot.
Hoping to race the man, she accelerated.

racers.
The competition between them was exciting. They overtook each other multiple times while showing off their techniques.
The esses on the track were where Millie usually shone. She loved speeding up at the corners as it was thrilling and difficult to execute.
However, she didn’t accelerate at the corners that day. To her surprise, her rival did.
The other racers were shocked. “Damn it! That’s Seven’s special techniquel
“Who’s that guy? Fuck!”
“He’s so cool!”
Millie frowned when she saw the guy expertly using her special technique. When she sped up to catch up to him, she couldn’t help but think of the mysterious person who had texted her.
In fact, she dared not accelerate and show off the technique unique to her for fear of exposing her
