He angrily exclaimed, “Are you out of your mind pretending to be M?” 

He would rather die than work for her. If he told his friends about this, they would definitely make a joke 

out of him. 

Millie was highly amused by his reaction. She stood up and said calmly, “Whether you believe it or not is entirely your choice. I have only one question for you. Do you want to leave this place?” 

Michael was confused and pondered over the meaning of her words. 

“I’ll set you free, and you work for me. What do you think?” Millie smiled, seeming more compliant. At that moment, she really didn’t look like M, who had a secret base. 

Michael remained silent, carefully observing her expression. He wondered if she was out of her mind or if he was simply dumbfounded. He wondered if Millie was truly serious when she talked about releasing him and offering him a job. 

“I’m serious.” Millie gazed at him sincerely. She simply needed a reliable bodyguard who could protect her 

at all costs.

“Michael Brown,” he replied.
