“No, this is a big deal,” Millie replied, shaking her head, 

Paxton waved his hand dismissively but couldn’t resist sneaking a glance at Winston. Did he hear that? Millie just expressed her gratitude and said it was a big deal. 

“By the way, how did you manage to get the Aspher?” Millie asked as she poured a glass of water, her interest piqued. 

Paxton blinked repeatedly. Of course, it was Winston who had gotten it. 

“I bought it off someone,” he answered with a smile. 

Millie pressed further, “Was it expensive? 

Paxton shook his head in response. It didn’t cost him a dime. 

Millie shrugged and asked, “Paxton, since you seem to know a lot about herbs, do you happen to have any other rare ones on hand?” 

She took a sip of water after speaking, and her eyes were filled with anticipation. However, Paxton simply shook his head. 

With that, Millie didn’t push the matter and steered the conversation back to the Aspher. 

“I really appreciate you giving me the Aspher.” 

This time, Joanna heard it clearly. It was indeed Aspher! 

So, she asked Winston, “Win, did you hear that? Millie seems to be talking about an Aspher.” 

“Is that so?” Winston responded with a deliberately indifferent tone. 

Joanna was puzzled. “But isn’t the Aspher with you? How did Millie get it?” 

Winston looked up at her, his voice calm as ever. “Maybe you misheard.” 

Joanna said nothing and studied him intently. When she had asked him for the Aspher, he had said he needed it and couldn’t give it to her. Could he have given it to Millie instead? 

When Millie suddenly got up to go to the restroom, Joanna quickly claimed she wasn’t feeling well and needed to go as well. 

While Millie touched up her makeup in the restroom, Joanna stood beside her, and their eyes met in the mirror. 

Millie’s gaze was cold and detached. It was as if she were looking at a stranger. Joanna’s eyes, on the other hand, were filled with hostility and suspicion. 

Millie lowered her gaze, applied some lipstick, and asked slowly, “Do you have something to ask?” 

Millie raised an eyebrow and countered, “So what if I was?”

When Joanna returned to the table, she noticed that Paxton had gotten up and left. With a frown, she quickly approached Winston.
