Chapter 66
Although Joanna felt anxious, she still appeared calm. She said, “Go ahead! I spent one billion dollars to buy this Snowdrop. Wouldn’t I know if it was real or fake?
“Moreover, this present is for Mrs. Greer Senior. I wouldn’t dare to deceive her!” Joanna threw her bag onto the table before pulling out a chair and sitting down.
It was as if she didn’t care about what Millie was going to do to prove the authenticity of her herb.
“Ms. Caldwell, if it turns out that you’ve wrongly accused me today, I won’t forgive you even if you kneel down and beg me to!” Joanna scoffed.
Did Millie think she didn’t have a temper? What gave Mille the right to claim that her Snowdrop was fake?
“And what if I didn’t wrongly accuse you?” Millie tilted her head to the side.
Joanna sneered. She pointed at Millie’s high heels and said through gritted teeth, “Then, I’ll kneel down myself and clean your shoes!”
Everyone craned their necks just to see what was going on. They were very curious about this farce regarding the authenticity of the Snowdrop.
The Caldwell family was significantly weaker than the Lowell family, so how could the Caldwell family be able to get their hands on the real Snowdrop?
The Lowell family had long announced that they were going to give the Snowdrop to Selma for her birthday. If Joanna had indeed given Selma a fake one, she would be humiliating herself. Moreover, Joanna seemed so sure of herself at this moment, so everyone thought that the Caldwell family’s Snowdrop was the fake one.
“The Snowdrop from the Caldwell family doesn’t look any different from a white rose. At the very least, the Snowdrop from the Lowell family looks like an herb. If you ask me, I think Millie is just causing
trouble!”
“Even though Mrs. Greer Senior treats her so well, she’s disrupted her birthday banquet! We should really throw her out!”
Millie glanced at the people around her. Her gaze was icy cold, but they weren’t scared. In fact, they widened their eyes and stared back at her, convinced that her Snowdrop was fake.
Seeing this, Selma was frustrated. She sighed and said slowly, “That’s enough.‘
Selma didn’t care whether Joanna’s Snowdrop was real or fake. She was just worried about Millie.
If the results showed that Joanna’s Snowdrop was real, then Millie would be embarrassed. Winston was not here, so she had to protect Millie on his behalf. She could not let Millie be bullied!
When everyone heard Selma relent, they were even more certain that Joanna’s Snowdrop was real while Millie’s was fake!
“Mills, let’s stop here, okay?” Selma held Millie’s hand

Millie frowned. Stop here? What was Selma worried about? That she would be embarrassed if everyone found out that her Snowdrop was fake?
The Lowell family would be the laughing stock, not the Greer family!
“Grandma…” Millie wanted to get to the bottom of this.
Selma released Millie’s hand and said in a displeased tone, “I said, this matter ends here. Mills, are you not going to listen to me?”
It had never been Millie’s intention to anger Selma. It wasn’t worth it to upset Selma over this matter.
Millie could only lower her head. After much hesitation, she decided to swallow her grievances and reluctantly agreed.
“I’ll listen to you, Grandma. We’ll stop here.” Millie looked at Joanna with mixed feelings.
