Julien didn't pay any attention to Zach. He tapped on the reception desk.

The girl at the reception desk was currently writing down something in her notebook. She didn't notice Julien and Zach.

When she heard the tap, she hurriedly put down her pen and looked up.

She was surprised to see Julien. She nervously stammered, "Mr.... Mr. Flint."

Julien frowned, yet he didn't find fault with the girl.

He knew that most employees were afraid of him, so he understood her panic. He'd been in a lot of such situations.

"Has anyone from Skylight come here?" Julien asked.

The girl was confused, "Skylight?"

Julien nodded. Zach now understood everything.

'So Mr. Flint asked me to park at the gate because of Ms. Raines. I'm not surprised. Except for Ms. Raines, who could make Mr. Flint break his own rules, and more than once?'

"No." The girl shook her head.

Julien tightened his lips into a thin line. 'Looks like the soup delivery guy is still on his way.'

Seeing that Julien didn't say anything anymore, Zach coughed and then asked, "Mr. Flint, did Ms. Raines send someone to deliver something?"

Julien lifted his chin nonchalantly. Zach then was sure that he was right.

Zach smiled, "I see. Mr. Flint, you may go to your office. I'll be waiting here. Then I'll bring the stuff to your office, okay?"

"No." Julien refused bluntly, "I'm going to wait here." Julien gave Zach a sidelong glance. A hint of warning was in his eyes.

The corner of Zach's mouth twitched. He spat inwardly, 'Damn it! I was trying to help! It's an assistant's job to help his boss collect stuff. It's fine that my proposal wasn't appreciated. But why does Mr. Flint glare at me?

'Damn it!

'What's the big deal about having a girlfriend? When I'm not busy anymore, I'll find one myself, and then I won't envy them.'

Although Zach felt upset, he kept a smile on his face. No one could tell that he was actually annoyed.

Julien never cared about what was on Zach's mind. The girl brought two chairs. Julien sat down and folded his legs, waiting for Sydney's soup.

It was about an hour’s drive from Skylight to Flint Corporation. It took them an hour to get back from the plant, so Sydney's soup should be here soon.

Julien lifted his arm to check the time and then tapped his fingers against his knee. His eyes glanced at the gate every now and then. It was obvious that he was anxiously awaiting Sydney's soup.

Since Julien sat down, Zach didn't dare go. He sat right behind Julien and waited for the guy from Skylight with Julien.

The smile on the girl's face stiffened as she watched the two. She was dumbfounded. 'What's going on? Why are they sitting here?'

As Julien and Zach sat there, the girl felt stressed. She couldn't concentrate on her work. She didn't dare to gasp for air for fear of causing the two’s attention.

The girl rubbed her stiffened cheeks and sighed inwardly.

Some of the employees burst out laughing after they walked out of the two's sight. Some of them took out their cell phones and posted to their chat groups that they saw Julien and Zach sitting in the hall.

Soon everyone in the company learned that their boss was sitting in the hall instead of his office. They all laughed about it.

Zach didn't know that the employees were secretly laughing at him and Julien, but he could sense their surprised, cautious, evasive and finally amused look in their eyes as they passed through the hall.

Zach could guess what the employees were doing their best to restrain.

They were all amused by the sight of Julien and Zach sitting in the lobby.
