Sir, Madam Dispeared Again After Divorce! novel Chapter 850

Sydney wasn't sure of Julien’s reaction if he learned she'd lost the clothes.

She felt anxious. She wished to have someone with her at the moment so she could rely on him.

Before she got back with Julien, she would stick it out herself, even though she sometimes felt uneasy.

But now that she had Julien and she was no longer alone, she wanted to depend on him.

A man was supposed to stick up for his girlfriend.

Sydney clutched her hands tightly. Her mind was in turmoil.

Julien drove to Flint Mansion. As soon as he got out of the car, a fat woman came out of the front door and approached him with a surprised look on her face.

"Julien, you're home!" Velma approached Julien. She was very excited and she trotted to Julien. Because she was fat, she was panting and her chubby face turned red.

She was obviously tired from the trot.

Julien frowned, "Mom, you should lose some weight. You're panting so badly over such a short distance. It's not good for your health."

Julien had not seen Velma in days and today he noticed that Velma had gained more weight.

She had narrow eyes, which were now just two narrow lines.

Velma was not happy with Julien's words. "Why do I need to lose weight? I feel good. My friends said that a fat face is a symbol of good luck and that I can bring good luck to the family."

"They're lying to you. How can you believe them?" Julien retorted, "If it's a symbol of good luck. Why don't they get fat to bring good luck to their families?"

Velma froze.

'If getting fat brings good luck, why do those women try to lose weight all the time?'

Velma quickly figured out why, and her face instantly darkened.

She had been fooled by those women!

Those women fooled her and laughed at her. They wanted her to stay fat, so she was the joke of the circle.

However, Velma had believed them, and she was proud of being fat. She didn't expect they were making fun of her.

They must have been laughing at her behind her back a lot.

Thinking about this, Velma became angry. Her fat body shook as her chest heaved as if her body was going to explode.

When her body shook, she almost lost her balance and fell down.

Julien frowned even harder. He reached for her and warned, "Be careful."

Velma regained her balance. She patted the back of Julien's hand in relief and said, "Thank you, Julien. I was afraid I was going to fall if you didn't give me a hand."

"What’s wrong with you?" Julien asked. He sensed that something was wrong with Velma.

Velma waved her hand and replied, "It's nothing serious. I just felt dizzy in my head."

Julien then understood what was wrong with Velma.

"I think your blood pressure is too high," Julien said.

Velma's eyes widened in disbelief, "My blood pressure is too high?"

"I guess so." Julien nodded, "People with high blood pressure can get dizzy when they become emotional."

She cared most about her husband and her sons, especially Jayden, who was her own child.

She felt guilty if Jayden was worried about her.

"Since you don't want Jayden to worry about you, you should reduce weight." Julien narrowed his eyes at Velma.

Meeting Julien's determined eyes, Velma opened her mouth. She seemed to want to say something, but she didn't say a word after all. She nodded her head reluctantly, "OK, I'll reduce weight."

Julien finally eased up.

Velma was also relieved.

She had always feared Julien, especially when he had a sullen face.

Now Julien's face relaxed, and Velma breathed a sigh of relief.

"Julien, you haven't told me what you came back for." Velma asked, "You're not leaving today, are you? I'm all alone in the house these days and I feel so lonely."

"I came back to get some stuff." Julien replied as he straightened his sleeves. He meant he would leave when he got his stuff.

Velma followed him into the house, "What do you want?"

"My mom's jewelry." Julien strode ahead and answered without looking back at Velma.

Velma bluntly stopped and asked, "You came back for your mother's jewelry?"

Julien continued walking and was about to go upstairs.

Velma quickly caught up with him. "What are you going to do with your mother's jewelry? Did you want to give it to Sydney?"
