Greta's face was now completely shown, but her eyes were tightly shut as if she was asleep.
Seeing that, Neil took a step forward. "Mr. Sullivan, should I wake her up?"
Dallin said yes.
Neil looked around and saw that there was a glass of unfinished water on the table in the detention room. It should have been left by the police officer who had come to interrogate Greta.
Seeing the glass of water, Neil didn't hesitate to go over and pick it up. Then he simply threw the water on Greta's face.
At the sight of that, the police officer beside them who had brought them here widened his mouth in surprise.
Obviously, he didn't expect that the two people would use such a way to wake up the woman.
But the head of the Sullivan family seemed to think his assistant had done nothing wrong.
The police officer was so confused.
Wasn't Greta the daughter of the head of the Sullivan family?
His assistant treated his daughter like that, but why didn't he feel dissatisfied with him at all?
With water on her face, Greta finally woke up.
She had been so nervous these days. Now Neil had thrown water on her, so she immediately woke up and screamed, pale and terrified.
Thinking it was so harsh to the ear, Dallin shouted unhappily, "Silence!"
Hearing his voice, Greta was stunned and subconsciously stopped screaming. She looked up in disbelief.
Seeing Dallin's dark face, Greta opened her eyes wide in horror. "Mr…. Mr. Sullivan, why did you come?"
She swallowed, shivering in fear.
Seeing Greta's reaction, the police officer became even more surprised.
Strange! Greta was Mr. Sullivan's daughter, wasn't she?
Why was she so afraid when she saw him?
And she didn't call him dad or father, but Mr. Sullivan?
This was really strange!
Although he was curious, the police officer didn't ask. After all, this was their family affair. After glancing at the three people in the detention room, he turned and went out.
Mr. Sullivan had just said he would talk with Greta alone.
Their chief had agreed, so he wouldn't stay here for too long.
Soon only Dallin, Neil, and Greta were left in the detention room.
One could see that she was now really afraid and in great pain. She was not acting.
Dallin had learned about her past. Of course, he knew how she had spent her days in the psychiatric hospital.
So he knew her pain at the moment was real. She was not fooling him.
He looked at her coldly. "Don't worry. I'll save you."
Greta stopped crying and looked up at Dallin with excited tears. "Really? You're not lying to me, Mr. Sullivan? You'll truly save me?"
Dallin turned his ring and answered casually, "I never tell lies. Back then, I went to you in person, saying I would help you. Of course, I'll always help you. I won't abandon you on the way. I paid a lot of money for your lawyer, and I came to Port City myself. These are proof, aren't they? More importantly, although you're stupid, you're not completely useless, so I'll keep you."
Greta nodded repeatedly. "Yes, right, I know you're the kindest, Mr. Sullivan. So, I beg of you. Please take me out of here as soon as possible. I really don't want to stay here for even a second."
She was so agitated.
But Dallin's face was still cold. "Why are you so anxious? This is Port City, not Jackal City. This is Julien's turf. You've provoked him. Even if I want to save you, it's not that easy. Without a lot of maneuvering, I don't think I could save you, so you'll have to stay here for some time."
"What?" Greta couldn't believe what she heard. She widened her eyes as if her eyeballs would burst out. "I'll stay here for some time? No, no, no, Mr. Sullivan, I don't want to stay here anymore. I'll be crazy! I'll be insane!"
She really couldn't accept it. She shook so violently that her wheelchair almost fell apart.
Dallin looked at her in disgust. "Your current condition is almost the same as being crazy, so being a little crazier is nothing so bad. More importantly, I also want you to stay here for a while. You acted against my order, but didn't do anything nicely. You didn't think I would settle accounts with you?" Dallin sneered.
