Julien kissed her on the lips. Then he released her cheek. "Okay. Let's go. Time for breakfast."

Sydney let out a snort.

'Damn it! He took advantage of me again!'

Julien noticed Sydney's annoyance, but he ignored it. He had a smile on his face.

He carried her to the table and placed her on a chair. After that, he started to place the food on the table.

While Julien put the plates on the table, Sydney helped remove the lids from the plates. The two worked seamlessly together.

The food looked delicious.

Sydney gestured to the chair across from her, "Take a seat. Let's eat."

Julien replied, "Let me pour the milk for you."

He then grabbed a bottle of milk and poured her a glass of milk.

After everything was ready, he sat across from her. "Let's eat."

Sydney took a sip of milk. Looking at the breakfast, she laughed, "It's eleven o'clock and we're having breakfast. Isn't this too late?"

Julien put a slice of bread on her plate as he replied, "No. There are no rules in this world to begin with. Rules are made by people, but why should we follow them? We can do whatever we want, can't we? It's okay for us to have breakfast at noon."

"You're right." Sydney took a bite of the bread and nodded.

Julien took a sip of his coffee and continued, "But we'd better eat breakfast on time. It's not good for our stomach to have breakfast so late."

"Are you trying to lecture me?" Sydney glanced at him.

Julien didn't say anything but had a smile.

The two enjoyed their brunch in silence.

After they finished it, it was twelve o'clock. It was time for them to check out of the room.

After Julien brushed his teeth and came out of the bathroom, he handed Sydney a delicate bag from the couch.

Sydney blinked her eyes and asked in confusion, "What's this?"

"It's your clothes." Julien replied, "I had Zach bring it over."

Sydney opened the bag. Inside was a brand new set of clothes, even underwear.

Looking at Sydney's back, Julien smiled. Then he took out his cell phone and asked Zach to drive the car to the hotel entrance. They would be going out soon.

Sydney quickly changed her clothes. She opened her purse and put on simple makeup.

She looked in the mirror and was satisfied with the look. Then she put the lipstick in her purse and carried it out of the bathroom.

Julien was sitting on the couch waiting for her. When he saw that she was done, he immediately put down the magazine and got up. "Are you done?"

"Yes." Sydney nodded and walked over to him.

Julien bent his arms. His meaning was clear.

Sydney smiled. She didn't let him down and took his arm. They got out of the room.

Zach was waiting in front of the hotel.

Julien and Sydney saw their car as soon as they came out.
