Chapter 201
Tin isn’t sure she would lose her mind, but she’s devastated right now. The person in the hospital room before is completely different from the person she used to be.
“Yes, but did you see how tired she looked before she passed out?
“Yes: it was really scary, I got chills thinking about Jolene’s face from before.
“Lily, that shut-in isn’t going to give up so easily after scheming for so long. She will think of a way to get back at you. It will be difficult for you to deal with both of them. . I’m worried about you”
I’ve thought about it. Don’t worry, Isabella. I will be careful”
As I lay in the hospital bed that night, the thoughts kept running through my mind. Meanwhile, in the same room, Carson was tossing and turning and unable to sleep.
The next morning. Victoria came to the hospital with breakfast. While I was still eating, I got a call from Robin. “Lily, my sister is awake
“Oh this is great!” I said happily.
“Lily, if you have time later, can you come see my sister? She is not doing very well. She doesn’t say a word and stares at the ceiling with a blank look on her face. No matter what I say to her, she just keeps the same expression. I’m very worried.”
As soon as Carson heard this, he didn’t try to hide his feelings of concern. “Honey, let’s visit her together.”
“Okay,” I replied and started to get up. I had to see how pitiful that girl looked.
When Victoria brought breakfast, she also brought Jolene an extra portion. So she followed Carson and me into Jolene’s room.
Opening the bedroom door, we saw Jolene lying lifeless on her bed, her face pale and her gaze fixed on the ceiling.
“Lily! You are here!” Robin immediately got up and greeted us.
“How is she?” I asked with a worried look.
“She’s been like this since she woke up. She doesn’t say a word.” He walked to Jolene’s side. “Lily and Carson are here to see you.”
There was no response as she continued to stare at the ceiling. Robin nudged her with his hand and repeated aloud before she finally looked up.
When she saw us, she suddenly started crying. “Lily!”
Then, she started sobbing. I suppressed the hatred inside me and went to take her hands to comfort her. “Jolene, you have to stay strong
“My life is full of misery!” She moaned. At that moment, she still did not forget to seek sympathy. I felt uncomfortable listening
to your screams.
