Sir madame has run away again (Lily and Carson) novel Chapter 437

Looking back, I saw Camille coming the other way. She was wearing oversized sunglasses and a sun hat, while Eric, who was wearing casual clothes, stood behind her. Since he also wore sunglasses as a disguise, I wouldn’t have recognized them if it weren’t for Jenny. I looked at them for a moment and turned away. “Let’s go.”

“Aren’t you going to say hi?”

“No. Miss Sanders is a celebrity. If her fans noticed her because we said hi, it would be bad. Let’s pretend we didn’t see them.”

Jenny agreed to that, so we headed to the VIP lounge. When we sat down, she ordered two cups of coffee, and after taking a sip, Jenny got up. “Hello, President Walker, Miss Sanders,” she greeted them politely.

I looked back and saw them standing behind us, then Camille smiled at me. “Lily!”

“Hello, Camille. Hello Mr. Walker. Where are you going?”

“I’m going to a film festival in Aldovia.” Camille sat up, smiling.

So I looked at Eric. “Will you go with her, Mr. Walker?”

Eric sat across from me in silence, ignoring me. Noticing his rude behavior, Camille quickly said, “He’s not particularly there for me, as he also has

business there.”

“Is your wound healed?” I looked at her curiously. The day before, she was still in the hospital, but now she was on her way to a film festival. If that wasn’t hard work, I didn’t know what was.

“Oh, it’s just a scratch. I’ll have it checked out there.” Camille let me look at the wound on her arm.

“You’re going to have to go on a red carpet procession, aren’t you?” Jenny intervened. “Won’t the injury affect your appearance?”

“I’m going there precisely for that. Eric knows a doctor there who is great at removing scars. I’ll just ask him to remove mine, and the red carpet procession will be a piece of cake.”

“Mr. Walker is really nice to you.” I replied, looking at Eric quizzically.

Upon hearing this, he looked at me. “As I should.”

I was irritated, so I added, “Are you going with her during the red carpet procession?”

Unaware of our fights, Camille said, “I want him to do this, but he’s not a celebrity and he hates it.”

Oh, so she wanted him to go. Eric then looked at me, his gaze indifferent. Chance. He was holding my hand as we walked through the bazaar last night, but now he seems distant. Is he making a fool of himself in front of Camille, or have I somehow offended him again?

In the end, I couldn’t think of anything, so I figured it must be because of Camille. When I remembered what Jenny had said about Camille earlier, I scoffed.
