Chapter 1010 Useless On Me 

The two carefully approached a tree about ten meters from the manor’s gate. Only a stretch of bare land awaited them if they walked further ahead. They wouldn’t have a hiding place to sneak a covert attack. 

Two fully-armed men stood guard by the gate with AK machine guns in their hands. Those weapons were far more lethal than the handgun in Elsa’s hand. 

“What should we do now, Alex?” She turned to Alex with a worried look. We’re basically rushing to our deaths if we charge forward in this situation. Should we head back? But I can’t bring myself to head back without doing anything to avenge my colleagues!

Holding the gun Alex gave her, she checked the bullets in the magazine and nodded. “I know how to use it. Why aren’t you putting the vest on?” 

Alex merely removed one vest and didn’t put on any protective gear. 

“Bulletproof vests are useless on me. Since we’re ready, let’s head in.” He turned around and pushed the gate open, leading the way in. 

Ela had no idea what Alex was up to, but she trusted him completely. She knew he was no average Joe the minute he killed two fully armed men with two small rocks. 

She instinctively dropped her gaze to the two bodies on the ground and noticed the bloody holes between. their eyes.
