Son-In-Law Gets an Upgrade novel Chapter 1011

Chapter 1011 Retreat

Elsa did not look back. She was afraid she might see Alex lying dead on the ground after he was shot multiple times. If he really died, she would feel guilty for the rest of her life since she was the one who had insisted on bringing him here.

After a few seconds and thinking everything was set in stone, Elsa turned back. She was astonished to find Alex standing there unharmed. It was as if nothing had happened.

Did none of the bullets hit Alex? If that’s the case, those people have terrible aims. But is that really possible?

The two quickly took cover at the entrance. Elsa gripped her AK rifle and took a peek before firing several shots at the people.

Elsa’s aim was exceptional. She fired three shots and hit two of them, one directly in the head, instantly killing him and the other in the shoulder, causing him to fall unconscious to the ground.

Alex did not stand there idly either. He grabbed some stones from his pocket and threw them at the people. He wasn’t as cautious as Elsa, as he exposed his entire body to the people.

The people started shooting at Alex too. However, those who got hit by Alex’s stones dropped to the ground one after another with a hole in their foreheads.

As the bullets flew toward Alex, they suddenly stopped moving a few centimeters away from his body as though something hard was blocking them and fell to the ground.

In the blink of an eye, only three people were left out of the dozen. No one dared to continue attacking Alex and Elsa

“Let’s retreat! We can’t deal with them! Quick! Go and tell our boss about this situation! I’ll cover you!” one of the three men, slightly taller than the other two, said.

The other two people immediately did as they were told and ran inside without looking back. They had to inform their boss about this situation quickly.

If these people were only police officers, they did not have enough firepower to pose a threat to them. However, the young man’s invulnerability to their attacks was terrifying.

Do they think they can run away?

Alex appeared beside the tall man swiftly like a phantom and snapped the latter’s neck with his hand.

Then, he took the man’s rifle and fired a shot at the two people running away.

Bang!

The sound of the gunshot resonated in Alex’s ears, and the powerful recoil made him take a step back. The bullet completely missed the target and didn’t hit any of the two individuals,

Alex had never handled firearms before, so he didn’t even know how to use them. When he saw Elsa using her gun with such ease, he thought he would be able to get the hang of it quickly, but it seemed that he had failed.

Although the bullet didn’t hit the two people, Alex didn’t intend to let them go. He threw the rifle at one of them.
