“You look like someone who’s asking for a beating. Be mindful of your words in the future. I’ll teach you a lesson today!” Without wasting any more breath, Cory swung his fist at Alex’s face. 

Cory’s movement might appear swift to others, but to Alex, his actions were as slow as a turtle’s. Hitting me is an impossible task for him. 

In the blink of an eye, Alex evaded the incoming attack. The people around him couldn’t even see how he managed to dodge Cory’s punch. 

“How dare you lecture me? Why don’t you take a good, hard look in the mirror first? Do you think you’re somebody important just because you have a little bit of money and influence? Do you think people will be afraid of you because of that?” Alex said coldly. 

“That’s right. I’m rich, and I can crush you with my money. You’re just like that pathetic Zack, a loser through and through. You are lucky to avoid the punch just now, but I won’t give you that chance again.” 

Without speaking further, Cory desperately tried to punch and kick Alex. His fighting style was as unrefined as a streetside thug’s. 

However, after everything he had done, he didn’t even manage to touch Alex’s clothes. Instead, he found himself panting and out of breath, unable to muster the strength to make another move against Alex 

This time, Cory was completely dumbfounded. Dodging once could be a coincidence, but evading his attack twice was a little unnatural. 

“How did you manage to avoid-” Before Cory could finish speaking, a fierce kick landed on his chest. sending him flying.
