The family enjoyed a harmonious meal together, with lively conversation and laughter around the dining table. Flynn couldn’t stop praising the meal cooked by Zack, even wanting. to hire Zack from Alex. However, Flynn realized his fists were not as strong as Alex’s, so he had no choice but to give up. 

Alex put down his fork and wiped his mouth, then said seriously, “Taking this opportunity, I want to talk about something, that is, my relationship with Kate. Alex noticed something was off with Stanley and asked with concern, “What’s wrong? Stanley, why are you crying? Are you feeling unwell somewhere?” 

Stanley slowly raised his head, his eyes blurred with tears. He looked at Alex and asked, “Dad, if you marry Ms. Sutton, does that mean you won’t want Ms. Grant anymore? What will happen to Ms. Grant? She likes you so much, she will definitely be very sad.” 

Listening to these words, Kate was so angry that she was about to snap her fork. This little brat really had a lot of objections toward me! He even openly opposes Alex to marry me. He needs to be taught a lesson!

After finishing their meal, Wanda went to the kitchen to clean up the dishes. Kate also offered to help and followed Wanda into the kitchen. As soon as the kitchen door closed, the atmosphere became tense.

concealed hostility. 

Kate placed her bowl and fork in the dishwasher, then scoffed and said, “There’s nothing to be smug about. Once I marry Alex, I’ll be your mistress.” 

Glancing at Wanda washing dishes by hand, Kate chuckled and said, “Don’t tell me you don’t know how to use a dishwasher. Are you a wild country girl who was picked up from the countryside by Alex? Recently, I’ve noticed that not only do you not know how to use a dishwasher, but you also can’t even watch TV, and you don’t even have a phone. I bet even people in the countryside are more worldly than you!” 

Hearing Kate’s words, Wanda felt her anger flare up instantly. I can easily crush this ordinary person with a flick of my finger. Yet, she dares to mock me. She simply has a death wish.
