Heather was slightly disappointed when she saw that Chairman still had his clown mask on. 

Slowly walking over to Alex’s desk with a smile on her face, she said, “Chairman, I’m here to update you on my latest progress.” 

“Okay.” Alex nodded and signaled for her to continue. 

“Chairman, there hasn’t been anyone from the Jennings family who has intervened with the company lately. And it won’t be long before the company resumes its normal operations. I’ve also brokered three business deals. One of them is a partnership with the Wood Group. The budget for this partnership is slightly above thirty million. The second is a partnership with Carrie Private Limited. This budget is around forty million. The last partnership is with New Entertainment Film and Television Company. I managed to persuade them into working with us for their celebrity repackaging project. The revenue for this project is much greater than we can estimate.” 

Heather stared obsequiously at Chairman. She was dying to see if the face behind the mask was smiling or not. 

Honestly, she was confident that these three projects would be enough to win the trust of Chairman. 

This was one of the reasons why she dared to come and meet Chairman today. 

Alex was rather stunned upon hearing this. She’s actually struck a deal with New Entertainment Film and Television Company as well? She’s rather clever, isn’t she? 

The New Entertainment Film and Television Company was a subsidiary of the Four Seas Corporation. Heather most probably could strike this deal due to Jack pulling the strings from behind the scenes. 

Otherwise, based on his understanding of the Jennings Corporation, their unprofessional repackaging team held no advantage over any other repackaging teams. 

“Hmm, you’ve done well. I’ll keep my word and get the legal team to transfer ten percent of the shares to your name today,” Alex said. 

“You’re the best, Chairman! Thank you so much!” 

Overwhelmed with excitement, Heather took the chance to grab Alex’s arm and bury it within her cleavage. She even put on an ecstatic expression on her face. 

After a moment of stunned silence, Alex’s lips twisted into a mocking smile. 

This was his wife; someone who was already cheating on him emotionally even before she divorced him. 

Even though she was cheating on him with his alter ego, Alex was still incredibly disgusted by what she was doing. 

“Chairman, can I treat you to dinner? I’m so excited. I have to thank you properly.” Heather stared at him longingly and deliberately rubbed her chest slightly on his arm. 

Although he was being seduced by his wife, he wasn’t aroused in the slightest. In fact, he was so disgusted that he felt like throwing up. 

Opening his mouth, he was about to tell Heather to get lost when he suddenly changed his mind. 

As the corners of his mouth tugged upwards into a frosty smile, he asked, “Sure. Just the two of us?” 

“Of course. Just the two of us,” Heather replied while staring at him with lustful eyes. 

“Alright. Then just send me the address tonight,” Alex said as he discreetly extricated his arm from her embrace.
