What will become of me after I’m released from jail? The Taylors won’t help us anymore, will they? 

Kneeling in front of Philip, Leo pleaded, “Dad, I don’t want to go to prison! Please help me!” Panic was written all over his face. 

“What will happen to me if Leo goes to jail? Please think of something, Dad!” Sasha cried out. 

Philip would have sent Leo flying downstairs with a kick if Sasha hadn’t married this jerk. Sighing, he turned towards Jessica and asked sincerely, “Ms. Saffin, can I meet the chairman?” 

Jessica knew that the Taylors were powerful as well, but she shook her head when she recalled Alex’s order. “Mr. Taylor, our chairman has made it clear that he will not accept any bargain. Leo Hale must be punished by the law.” 

After pausing for a moment, she continued, “Our chairman also said that he does not wish to see anyone today. However, if the Taylors are interested in a collaboration with our company, he would meet you another day to discuss the project over dinner.” 

“Really?” Philip was stunned. 

“Yes. You are welcomed to invite him for business discussions in the future. I think it may be helpful for you to know that he is going to be quite busy for the next few days.” 

“All right. Please help me thank Mr. Jefferson and tell him that I will do as he wishes. I will treat Mr. Jefferson and Ms. Sutton to dinner some other day and apologize to Ms. Sutton personally.” Philip only hesitated for a few seconds before agreeing to Alex’s conditions. 

Obviously, he would send Leo to jail in exchange for a business opportunity with Four Seas Corporation rather than offending the company by protecting Leo. 

It was a rare opportunity for the Taylor family to expand their business ever since they had reached their maximum potential. 

“Dad, I…” Leo almost fainted when he heard Philip’s decision. 

Meanwhile, Sasha was dumbfounded because she could not believe that her beloved father would send her husband to jail. 

“Dad! How can you do this to me? How am I supposed to live alone?” She burst into tears. 

“Sasha, your husband is an a**hole! If we don’t teach him a lesson, he will eventually have an affair in the future.” 

Philip glared at Leo coldly before turning to Christian. “What do you say, Christian?” 

Christian laughed bitterly. “I agree with you. This a**hole son of mine deserves a punishment indeed, -but…” 

“Tell me.” Philip nodded as a gesture for Christian to go on. 

“But it’s difficult to get three hundred million in such short notice.” Christian finished with a helpless expression. 

“How much money can you get today?” Philip asked.
