Chapter 434 You Are Fired

Feeling that his authority had been challenged, Harvey raised his hand yet again and slapped the assistant, “Who do you think you are? How dare you question my decision!” 

The assistant’s face darkened as she did not expect Harvey to be that unreasonable. 

Amused by the show they put on, Alex continued to stoke the fire, “The way your employees disrespected you makes me think that they’re the bosses and you’re the employee.” 

Harvey got even more enraged after hearing what Alex said. 

When Harvey looked at Jolene and her assistant, the two dared to glare at him. You two really think you’re the bosses, don’t you? 

“You’re both fired! Nebula Pictures officially terminates your contracts!” grunted Harvey before taking his phone out to make a call, “Terminate the contract with Jolene now! Then notify every film and media company in Lumenopolis that I’m officially banning her!” 

What? He wants to terminate my contract? 

Both Jolene and her assistant’s eyes widened, for they were sure that Harvey had lost his mind to have made such a decision. 

At the same time, Jolene was worried that getting banned by the company that nurtured her to success would greatly affect her career. 

After all, Nebula Pictures has a great reputation and influence in Lumenopolis besides being the Weiss family’s property. 

To put it another way, Jolene’s career was done for in Lumenopolis. 

“You’ll regret this, Mr. Weiss. You can ban me in Lumenopolis for all you want. I’ll just move to Ruthorham where your family has no influence,” boasted Jolene defiantly. 

“Or so you think. Just you try and see if any company there will sign a contract with you,” responded Harvey arrogantly.” 

“I guess we’ll see then, won’t we?” Jolene scoffed and looked daggers at Alex before leaving the bar with her assistant. 

Alex could not help but be amused as he watched the two sexy but furious figures leave. 

That was definitely the haughtiest actress I’ve ever seen! 

“I’m impressed, Mr. Weiss. You are the man!” Alex chuckled as he gave Harvey a thumbs–up. 

A sudden realization hit Harvey, and it hit him hard. Damn it! What the hell happened to me? Why did I just fire my most valuable cash cow? 

No matter how much Harvey regretted what he just did, there was no turning back for him. 

He just looked at Alex as he held back his anger.
