“Master, if you’re going to the auction, I want to go too,” Auriel said expectantly after hearing Alex and Maggie’s phone conversation 

She had never been to an auction, so she was curious about it 

“Why do you want to go there!” Alex asked after hanging up Maggie’s call. 

“I want to see how an auction looks like, and I’ve never been to one before.” Auriel explained 

Alex thought for a moment and felt that it would not do Auriel any harm to have a look. Therefore, he nodded. “Sure, I’ll pick you up tonight” 

“Thank you, master. You’re the best. Love you!” Auriel jumped up excitedly and kissed Alex on his cheek. 

Alex could easily avoid her kiss, but seeing her happy expression and the innocent glee in her eyes, he let her kiss his cheek 

After dinner, at around seven-thirty in the evening. Alex went out. 

He first headed to Tyrael’s clinic to pick up Auriel before heading to the auction in Breezeworth Hall.
