Chapter 666 Exchanging Harper For Medicine 

The ecstatic look on David’s face turned grim. 

It’s important to regain my potency and masculinity. However, it’s more important to stay alive! I can’t risk my life just for a woman! 

Thinking of that, he took a deep breath to compose himself. 

Noticing that David was not himself, Callum asked curiously. “You’re still young. Are you…. perhaps facing some kind of difficulty?” 

With a helpless expression, David said, “Callum, I’ll be honest with you. At this point, I’m as good as castrated. I haven’t been able to do it at all. I’ve gone to the hospital, but the doctors haven’t got a clue what to do. You have to help me!” 

David refrained from mentioning what Alex had done to him. After all, Alex is notorious in Nebula City for being a piece of trash. If word gets out about what he did to me, I’d be humiliated. I only came to look for Callum because rumor has it that he has medicine that cures conditions of this sort. 

Then, Davin asked in an urgent tone. “Is that the medicine your father took harmful if you just take it once or twice? Why don’t you give me some to try?” 

Callum quickly cut in to say. “It’d be better not to try that medicine. If it ends up having adverse effects on your body, it’ll only make things worse!” 

Here, he paused before continuing. “Oh, right. It just so happens that we’re researching a type of medicine in this area. We hope to improve on it so that the medicine can enhance male potency without harming the body. If we succeed, it may have the potential to restore a man’s abilities in that aspect.” 

Pleasantly surprised, David asked eagerly, “Really? That’s great! When will it be ready?” 

“Well, we’re still short of one herb. We’ll have to wait two days for the ancient medicine exhibition. We can only get it there,” Callum replied. 

David was over the moon. Two days? As long as it works, I’m willing to wait two years! Oh, Alex. You thought that you had ruined me, but you didn’t account for the possibility that I’d manage to find the Leighton family. Even without your help. I’m going to get cured. As for Auriel, how dare she keep making fun of me! I’ll take her once I’m 

cured! 

“Callum, can you sell some of the medicine to me once it’s ready? I really need it,” David said in an urgent 

tone. 

How could I not need it? I’m impotent now! If this goes on, I might as well just get castrated! 

Callum feigned a conflicted expression and answered with a sigh. “It’s not that I don’t want to help you. However, the ingredients used in this medicine are rare and valuable. Based on our previous tests, we probably can only produce one…” 

Glancing at Harper, he added with a wolfish grin, “Nonetheless, there’s always room for negotiation…” 

David knew what Callum meant at once. With a knowing smile on his lips, he turned to Harper and said, “From now on, you belong to Callum. Help me thank him properly, got it?”
