Chapter 975 Police Station 

Alex agreed without hesitation this time, “Well, I can assist if you need to investigate someone.” Several thoughts ran through his head. 

I have to credit this gorgeous team leader because, based on how solemn she appears to be, she is an outstanding officer who is capable and has the interests of her citizens at heart. In comparison to other guys, Elsa is in no way inferior. She performs her duties better than most males, in my opinion. 

Alex had plenty of employees working under him, so it was easy for him to ask Flynn to launch an investigation on Elsa’s behalf. 

When Alex consented to assist her, Elsa’s initially grave expression changed to a relieved smile. She acknowledged her appreciation, saying, “Alex, thank you,” 

Alex waved his hands dismissively. He didn’t view it as a huge favor. Rather, it was all he could do. After all, the investigation’s outcome had not yet been made public. 

“Regenerateur Enterprises had already transferred the compensation to my company. I’ll be quite busy because I have to return and begin the renovation of Four Seas Corporation. I’m leaving right away.” Alex stood up from the chair because he wanted to go.

Alex had arrived at the police station in a police car, so he didn’t have his automobile with him. Elsa followed the man to the police station’s entrance, where they waited for the bus. Both of them chatted to pass the time while they were there. 

Suddenly, the sound of someone screaming for help echoed through the air from the shop near the duo, 

They looked over to see five men in black clothing pulling a pedestrian toward a van. 

The passersby were horrified when they witnessed the scene before them. They had no idea who these men in black were, or why they were pulling someone into a van, so they were afraid to approach to provide assistance. 

In the meantime, Elsa and Alex didn’t wait and hurried over immediately to see what was happening. 

The young woman, who the men in black restrained, fought desperately to wriggle free from their grips She was only a few steps away from being pushed into the car, but her strength was no match for that of her captors.
