As soon as Nell and the rest came in, the middle-aged man stood up.

Perhaps they hardly knew each other, but the man seemed a bit shy and awkward. Cathy did not know him either, so she stole glances with Nell and Gideon.

Meanwhile, Sean appeared from behind them.

“You’re back.”

Sean came over. He must have been doing something for his hands to be wet.

Spencer, this is my wife Cathy Morrison, and these are my wife’s daughter and son-in-law, Nell Jennings and Gideon Leith. These are their children.”

After introducing each of them, Spencer approached them and proffered a hand.

“I’ve heard of you, President Leith. Indeed, you’re as remarkable as they say. It’s an honor to meet you.”

Gideon proffered his hand too and shook the man’s hand with a smile.

“You’re a legend in the field of botany, Mr. Nolan, and I’ve always wanted to meet you. I never expected that I’ll meet you today. It’s an honor, too.”

Sean chuckled. “Haha, both of you are the same, so it’s no big deal. Let’s have a seat.”

Then, all of them sat down on the sofa.

Finally, Cathy understood what was going on.

Earlier, Sean mentioned that he was not experienced at planting the Money Bead and he had to seek help from his good friend Spencer Nolan.

As the hostess, Cathy had to receive and entertain the guest.
