Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 117

With Nell an insensitive child in the first place, she, the grandmother should not be blamed for being heartless.

With that in mind, Sylvia exclaimed in a hoarse voice, “Can’t you see there’s someone sitting here? So what if you don’t know him? Why didn’t you greet him?”

Nell frowned.

As she had never been involved with the Jennings’ business, she did not recognize the need to greet Mr. Cap.

Nevertheless, she turned her gaze towards the smiling man who had been eyeing her.

Still, she paid due respect to Sylvia in front of outsiders and greeted, “Mr. Cap.”

“Oh, there’s no need to be polite. I’m only older than you by a few years. Just call me Brother Cap or Brother Dylan.”

Dylan gave a friendly smile, with a hint of ingratiation.

In her mind, Nell rolled her eyes.

Older by a few years?

It should be older by decades, all right?

If she recalled correctly, Dylan was in his late thirties, pushing forty!

Did people these days think that a beard shave and hair dye would give the impression that they were twenty-one?

Nonetheless, she kept these thoughts to herself. Of course, she was not going to address him as Brother Cap. Instead, she faintly threw a glance at Sylvia.

“I’m busy tonight, just speak if you have something to say!”

Sylvia replied in a low voice, “What’s the rush? I called you home to have dinner together. Look at your manners, rushing to leave before food is even on the table.”

She then turned to smile apologetically at Dylan. “Mr. Cap, I’m so sorry. This girl’s really spoiled by the family. She can be headstrong, please pardon us.”

Dylan immediately burst into chuckles. “It’s alright, it’s quite alright. I really like Ms. Jennings’ bluntness.”

Frowning, Nell was able to detect an ominous air befalling from their conversation.

Just then, a cheeky voice was heard from the outside.

“Grandmother, whose car is it parked out there? Do we have guests today?”

Celine entered arm in arm with Jason.

The moment Nell caught a glimpse of her, her eyes turned cold.

Celine, on the other hand, expressed pleasant delight.

“Sister! You’re home!”

She let go of Jason’s arm and ran over, elated.

As Celine approached, she took notice of Dylan sitting on the sofa.

“Huh? Who is this?”

A grin never left Sylvia’s lips ever since Celine entered the room.

Sylvia swiftly introduced them with a smile. “This is Mr. Cap from Jinshang. He has helped our family for years. You can call him Brother Cap.”

Beaming, Celine complacently welcomed him. “Brother Cap.”

Dylan returned a smile. “I have long heard of your good name. You’re indeed as beautiful as I thought. It’s nice to meet you.”

With that, he got up to exchange a handshake with Celine.

He then turned to Jason who was beside Celine. His eyes lit up.

“You must be the young master of the Mortons!”
