Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 122

Never mind Wilburn the Second, even Owen Jackman, the calmest and most steadfast of the bunch was shocked.

Adjusting the gold-rimmed glasses on his nose, he asked, “Brother Gideon, are you for real? Could... you have made up a person to disperse the rumors?”

Although Elijah and Gideon were the closest, Owen had better knowledge of Gideon’s bodily condition.

It was for no other reason but his family’s medical background by trade, the extraordinary kind too.

Since he had a close relationship with Gideon and the other bros, he made it a point to take care of their bodies as well.

Hence, Owen was very well aware that Gideon was not gay.

Both Gideon’s sexual orientation and bodily functions were perfectly fine!

Perhaps there was another reason behind his disinterest in women.

Throwing a glance at Owen, Gideon smiled faintly. “You’ll know the next time we meet.”

Own paused upon realization that there was truth in that. He was intrigued.

“Looks like the feng shui is great in Jincheng. You were never near women in the decades you were abroad or in the capital. It hasn’t been six months since you came to Jincheng and now you have a wife. Tsk! You sure move faster than a rocket!”

Gideon grinned. “Don’t be jealous. You won’t be able to find yourself a wife even if you’re jealous.”

Owen felt as though he was stabbed in the heart.

Wilburn the Second smiled. “I’m curious. What princess has caught the eye of our Brother Gideon? You must bring her along next time. I really want to take a look at her.”

“Yeah. She’s our sister-in-law. When are you taking her to the capital? It’ll sure be a buzz when we all gather together.”

“Oh yeah, you both should be coming back to the capital, right?”

Gideon nodded. “Yes, after a while!”

“Okay, we’ll wait for you in the capital.”

“What do you mean wait? I want to see her tomorrow.”

“Look at Wilburn the Second, he sure is impatient. Hahahaha...”

The private room was filled with an air of harmony and glee. Just then, Gideon’s phone rang.

Wilburn the Second teased. “Tsk, could it be sister-in-law urging Brother Gideon to come home?”

Elijah, who was sat closest to Gideon leaned in for a peek. As expected, he caught a glimpse of the caller ID displayed on Gideon’s phone.

Dearest Wifey.

“Tsk tsk tsk tsk. I’m cringing. You’re a big boy now yet you use such a cheesy name. Don’t you think it’s mushy?”

Gideon snorted. “Even if you want to get mushy, there’s no one for you to get mushy with.”

Elijah, “...”

Why did a single man like him have to have a big mouth?

Ignoring the party, Gideon got up and took the call outside.

“Nelly, are you done over there?”

His tender voice basked in an almost undetectable gentleness.

Nevertheless, the voice on the other end of the line was not the usual calmness and aloofness that was Nell. It was hurried and frail.

“Gideon Leith, is it convenient for you to get out here?”

Sensing something amiss in her tone, Gideon frowned.

“What’s wrong?”

“I... I’m drugged in the Jennings’ residence.”

The man’s face changed.

“I’ll be right over.”

Gideon rushed back to the private room and without the time to say his goodbyes to the people in the room, he grabbed his clothes and hurried off.

Noticing the black look on Gideon’s face, everyone stood up altogether.

“Brother Gideon, what’s up?”

“What happened?”
