Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 123

This drug could only be brought to play under the condition of alcohol and fondness for the reciprocating party.

Otherwise, it would only serve as an ordinary sedative.

Although Nell felt uncomfortable, it was not as overbearing and imposing as the aphrodisiac.

She was in the dark about the nature of this drug. Leaning against the backseat, her consciousness drifted in and out while her mind was hazy.

Her eyes were heavy, disabling her from opening them.

There were several times when she forced herself to keep a clear head but to no avail.

She tried to bite her tongue yet lost strength in her teeth, unable to get a grip onto her tongue.

The driver finally sensed something wrong with her after a gaze through the rear mirror.

“Young lady, are you alright?”

Nell did not answer.

It was not that she did not wish to speak, rather she had no energy.

The driver queried again, “You don’t look okay. Are you unwell? Why don’t I take you to the hospital?”

Nell remained mute.

Her consciousness was a blur, as though her mind had slipped into a world of chaos.

With her body limp without an ounce of strength, Nell experienced a dreamlike state.

Her ability to sense her surroundings was also growing hazy.

The driver waited a while but still received no response.

Through the rear-view mirror, he saw that she had passed out. A glint flashed past his eyes.

What a beautiful young lady to be this intoxicated.

By the looks of her flushed face and earlier angst, could she be drugged?

He had seen many women in the years working as a taxi driver.

It was obvious she was no proper lady for her to appear like this late in the night, and going to a high-end place like Leith Garden too.

It was likely that she was some mistress or other woman of a sugar daddy. Tsk! The rich sure knew how to indulge in life. This woman was definitely a catch, the kind an average joe can never have in their lifetime but the wealthy was able to toy with.

The driver’s eyes burned with desire at that thought. His body lit up in fire from the intensity in his core, especially at the sight of the fair and supple calf under the hem of Nell’s skirt.

The car drove down a flyover and into a desolate path.

Gritting his teeth, the driver turned the wheel in the end and parked by a roadside.

He got down the car and walked over to the backseat. He pulled the car door open.

“Young lady, wake up! Wake up!”

He reached out to smack Nell’s face.

The woman on the backseat was still passed out with her eyes closed and showed no signs of waking up.

The driver’s eyes turned obscure.

Taking a glance around, he ensured there was no one before getting onto the car and shutting the door behind him.

...

Gideon drove straight to Leith Garden.

He did not have Wilburn the Second and party tag along. Gideon merely instructed Matthew to investigate what happened in the Jennings’ residence while he kept an eye out during his drive back to Leith Garden.

There was no suspicious activity detected throughout the search.

Since the call to Nell, her phone had been unreachable.

He placed a call to the villa and it was answered by Aunt Joyce.

“Sir.”

“Is the missus home yet?”

Aunt Joyce was surprised. “Not yet.”

With a frown, Gideon terminated the call.
