Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 136

Nell felt the warmth against her back before her voice trailed off. Someone had grabbed her by the waist from behind.

This surprised her greatly. She let out a shriek and turned around immediately. The man’s handsome smiling face came into view.

“Gideon Leith?” She felt relieved but thought it was annoying and amusing at the same time. “How were you so quiet? You terrified the sh*t out of me!”

She said while patted on her chest.

The home clothes she was wearing today was a loose-fitting low cut top. Her delicate collar bone was on display.

Gideon’s eyes twinkled but he remained silent. He lowered his head to kiss her on the lips, before planting more kisses on her brows and her eyes.

Nell was flustered by the unexpected enthusiasm. Her tiny frame was wedged between his embrace and the countertop. There was not much room for her escape thus she could only lift her head to agree to the man’s unlimited demands.

Gideon finally released her after a long time. He pressed his forehead against hers and smiled.

Nell was panting for air. She appeared dazed even after she regained her composure.

“What’s wrong? Did something happen?”

Nell thought Gideon was behaving beside himself today.

Although he had always been passionate about her, he still considered the surroundings and would not get naughty in a place like the kitchen.

What was going on?

Gideon grinned and tucked the hair behind her ear. “You met my aunt?” he whispered.

Nell was surprised.

Her black eyes penetrated his. “How did you know?”

“She came looking for me at the office.”

“To complain?”

Gideon nodded frankly without intending to hide.

Nell thought it was quite funny. She leaned back a little and felt the small of her back pressed against the countertop. Despite that, she was still stuck within the periphery of the man’s arms. She hugged his arms and regarded him with a half-smile.

“I offended the aunt who raised you to the man you are today. How are you going to punish me, President Leith?”

Gideon raised his eyebrows.

“Hmm, you do need to be punished.”

He suddenly lowered his head to inch toward her face.

Nell leaned back immediately just as their lips were about to touch.

She stole a glance at the kitchen door diffidently. After making sure that no one was spying on them, she said in a tone laced with embarrassment and fury, “What are you doing? Not again!”

Gideon chuckled.

He had a long torso and long legs. Both his arms were planted by her side, almost shrouding her entirely in his shadow. Even the air was filled with sweet and pleasant affection.

Nell felt her cheeks burning all of a sudden. She had no idea what this man was going to do. He stood like that motionless for several moments. Finally, she pushed his chest away with both palms.

“Get out of here now. I still need to check on the soup!”

Gideon held her hands in his.

“My aunt not only has a bad temperament, but she’s also easily incited by others. But she’s not actually a mean person. Sorry for what you went through today. This will not happen again.”

This caught Nell by surprise.

She lifted her head to regard the man in front of her. The soft light that poured from above shrouded his sober and grave face with a shining brilliance.

She never expected him to say this.

In actuality, she did not feel aggrieved though the incident did upset her a little. However, the way she saw it, her relationship with Gideon and Jean did not interfere with one another.

For this reason alone, she would not be bothered even if Gideon did not offer her an explanation.
