Gideon carried his luggage behind him while Nell ran forward with a small bag.

When she entered, she was immediately attracted by the vegetable garden in the yard.

“Those flowers weren’t planted by you. They’re all taken care of by Aunt Joyce. When you’re in a good mood, you just go on a walk to enjoy them. You don’t even bother to look at them usually. It’s not the same at all, got it?”

Gideon knew that she was telling the truth and did not refute it.

“Are you hungry? We can go out and grab something to eat along the way.”

Nell nodded. “Okay.”

The two went back to their room and got changed.
